  1. Almost 😉 He got them through 8. On to top of 9.
  2. Seppings with 2 efficient innings. Going to the 8th.
  3. Made makes it in base again on a slow roller to second who bobbles and it’s ruled an error, but I think Made will have made it anyway. Anderson grounds out to 3rd. 8-1 game. Wow what a turn of events from Garcia having to work around his 5th inning with runners on, but he keeps it a 1-1 game. Then they erupts in walk-fest.
  4. Wild pitch scores a run. So unless a line out double play, Made will get to bat again!
  5. That pitch on Lameda may have been a strike. But when you keep missing you aren’t getting the call. And Muddies are showing plate discipline- well except for Bitonti.
  6. Walling draws another walk - 4-1 Muddies.
  7. And the line up has only 3 guys 20 or younger - and Vaquero on the bench.
  8. Keep being amazed how young that line up is. 6 of 9 position players are still teenagers, and only 2 can drink alcohol legally. And that’s with Adamczewski (just turned 20) and Peña and Payne on the shelf.
  9. He is trying to break out of his season long slump. But Bitonti just looked bad striking out. It’s gonna need some patience with him - power bats do take more time to develop.
  10. Two walks to start the inning. And Bitonti up and trying to swing for the fences and misses badlu and made picked off… no somehow steals a base without a pitch. Not sure what happened as the camera didn’t catch it.
  11. Being an older college guy and not a high velocity pitcher - I think they were just going to let him push it a little. He will be off until ?Friday or Saturday?
  12. Yup. Strikes him out and gets through 5 innings. Nice job.
  13. Couple of nice plays at SS - ranges up the middle on the first batter, and then snares a short hop. Helping Garcia out with the D. But Garcia gives up a single- maybe that will be it? No pitches another batter and another single. Ok. Gotta be nearing the end of his his start. They are letting him try to compete 5 innings I guess.
  14. Or not?? He appears to back out in the 5th.
  15. Only guy on that list under 20, under 180 lbs, and under 6’0”.
  16. Wow. Would not have guessed that Also would not have guessed that DiTuri would lead the team in HRs. And hits his 6th today. Nice Garcia not very efficient but gets through 2 scoreless innings with 4 K. But at 38 pitches
  17. The only “miss” would be Bill Hall - 8 years with the organization. Richie Sexson had 4 highly successful years in Milwaukee. And Lorenzo Cain was a key cog in 2018-2019, and had a bonus year with the Crew in 2010. Also -yes catching outside of Lucroy was a black hole (one good season by Grandal, a couple by Kendall and Miller were ok, then a lot of poor seasons or guys I forgot played there before Lucroy, and since him it’s been mainly Pina, Narvaez and now Contreras in recent years)
  18. KC Hunt having an outing that so far looks a lot like ‘24 KC Hunt 5 IP, 4H, 1R, 0BB, 8K!
  19. Arggh. But that pitching in the ACL has been much better overall than last year it seems. oh well. The offense can put up runs, and most of the pitchers can keep them off the scoreboard. Still a good overall record for the young Crew.
  20. The Arizona Brew Crew just put up a 6 spot in the 9th to take the lead back . Oh my how wild that league can be. Corobi with a big bases loaded double.
  21. Maybe he can be the next Bjorn Johnson - struggling in the ACL and then solid season in low A the next season.
  22. Great write up Jim. Thanks for adding all the IL statuses. ‘For those who either remember better, have heard, or could be in the know 1. EBJ - I can’t remember what his injury was and his expected return. Can someone remind me. 2. M. Rodriguez- was scratched as a starter in early May (last pitched 4/27) - I didn’t hear his name in any TRats podcast I’ve listened to - did I miss anything? Or has there been an update on him anyone can recall? 3. Is it viewed as encouraging that Joey Broughton is 60-day IL? Could he appear in ACL before season is over this summer? We heard encouraging reports that Hayden Robinson and Yorman Galindez could pitch sometime soon or soonish.
  23. Isn't a 4-year term anyway???
  24. I know his tenure was much shorter, but Francisco Cordero was the best closer the team had in the 2000s and in 2 years had 3.1 bWAR. But only 2 seasons so probably HM only. But Corey Knebel (5 years, 4.5 bWAR and part of the beginning of the electric multi-arm bullpen set up that started in 2017 through today), deserves a spot, maybe over Thornburg? And you also have to consider Brian Shouse who had an incredible 3 year run as the LOOGY from 20006-2008, and while that type of pitcher doesn't exist today, it did for a large proportion of the 2000-2025 time frame.
  25. Deep fly to RF corner. “Single” by Rosario walks it off for the Sounds. ‘it’s a 4-1 night in the farm system. Not too shabby
