  1. Dubanewicz goes out for his 5th inning. Gives up single, walk, then force out And a single and 2 run error, and 3 runs are in. Still 16-8 lead. Dubanewicz strikes out the next 2 guys!! Nice to finish strong. Must be out with 81 pitches.
  2. And the offense is 15 for 30 with 11 walks, is that even possible for 7 innings - I mean that’s only 15 outs, and there is a sac fly and 3 GIDP, but that only accounts for 19 outs. OK - found it - a line into DP (in addition to the GIDP), and an outfield assist at home and that gets us to 21 outs. Boy they have had 26 players reach base in about 42 plate appearances.
  3. Dubanewicz works around the lead off walk - with a fly out and double play. He’s gone 4 scoreless so far, 1 hit allowed, 2 walks and 4K. 60 pitches if that is accurate. Solid work for that young man.
  4. Ok. I thought I read that about the hitters recently. And BA had us as top of organizations in drawing walks on offense in all of the minors.. But the pitching doing such a good job at avoiding walks is really nice- that hasn’t always been the case.
  5. Quero 4-5. 2B, HR and 2 singles. Just needs that triple for the cycle
  6. Is it me or do the ACL Brewers draw 10+walks like every night? And their pitchers don’t give up too many walks usually.
  7. And it’s a 15-5 lead now in Arizona. Wowza
  8. Good to have you back in stride my friend
  9. Perez injury did look bad - immediate reaction for him grabbing his shoulder Yikes. Hope for best for that young man who was just getting his prospect status back again. And Blake Burke is looking pretty good. Handles the glove and is a hitter. Still want to see more gap and HR power for him, but I won't critique the young man tonight and let us savor this win.
  10. The ol' classic "0-0, 5 walks, 2 SB and 2 error" night thank you very much. Just one of the ACL stat lines that only makes sense in person.
  11. Looks like Dorchies is getting roughed up here in the 3rd. 5-5 game, and still only 1 out. All 5 hits allowed this inning, and two big errors (both by Ereu), and now there are 2 down.
  12. my bad - typed the wrong number. Yup 4 inning total.
  13. The Sounds offense still hasn't woken from it's slumber - it is it's usual Monday quiet self. Miz is out after 4 IP. Not his best, but boy he went out on a high with a 3K 1-2-3 4th inning. Elvin is in.
  14. Well he reads my post and... strikes out the side to say that I don't know very much about baseball. 87 pitches, to get through 3 IP, but now 8K.
  15. May be a short outing for Miz - at 71 pitches to get through only 3 innings. 5H and 2BB, but only 1 ER (2R) so far and he does have 5K. Still this was one less-than-stellar outing for him in what has been an exceptional year for the most part.
  16. Phew. A walk, then 2 outs and another walk. An error and bases juiced, but Langhorne gets the K. 9-1 win.
  17. Almost 😉 He got them through 8. On to top of 9.
  18. Seppings with 2 efficient innings. Going to the 8th.
  19. Made makes it in base again on a slow roller to second who bobbles and it’s ruled an error, but I think Made will have made it anyway. Anderson grounds out to 3rd. 8-1 game. Wow what a turn of events from Garcia having to work around his 5th inning with runners on, but he keeps it a 1-1 game. Then they erupts in walk-fest.
  20. Wild pitch scores a run. So unless a line out double play, Made will get to bat again!
  21. That pitch on Lameda may have been a strike. But when you keep missing you aren’t getting the call. And Muddies are showing plate discipline- well except for Bitonti.
  22. Walling draws another walk - 4-1 Muddies.
  23. And the line up has only 3 guys 20 or younger - and Vaquero on the bench.
  24. Keep being amazed how young that line up is. 6 of 9 position players are still teenagers, and only 2 can drink alcohol legally. And that’s with Adamczewski (just turned 20) and Peña and Payne on the shelf.
  25. He is trying to break out of his season long slump. But Bitonti just looked bad striking out. It’s gonna need some patience with him - power bats do take more time to develop.
