  1. I'm not sure the Marquette job is 'better' then UT.
  2. You get a pretty cool exchage rate on your money now.
  3. Maybe the thought is that Corey will not clog the bases, or the Reds can just get is 'out' out-of-the-way and let their good hitters go to work.
  4. What Augie said.
  5. It is rare to see guys (Tony Bennett) leave public institutions for private ones (Marquette). Never say never, but that usually is not the case.
  6. I'm with Danzig on this. No need for me to restate how he put it. I'll add this; there are parts on this team that could be helpful in the right role. If Mo was your 6th man (Ricky Pierce role) he would have more value. Dez could play 12-15 minutes as the 'D' guy off the bench. I'm not sure what to do with CV. Again, I think he could help some teams, but he is so miscast in Milwaukee. Maybe that is the best way to label what Larry Harris has done. He has brought in some players, but with little regard of how they fit together. The next GM has (IMO) a good 3-year project in front of him...good luck!
  7. Agreed. 'TMJ really screwed up the state-wide network.
  8. As long as Gwynn goes down or away when Cameron comes back, I guess it is Ok for him to play. I'd rather see Gabe get those AB's, but if this is a way to push up Tony's value, then so be it. If Gynn goes out there and "wow's" everyone...that is all the better. Just my opinion, but for the long term, I'd take Gabe.
  9. Sheets has messed around with a cutter this spring. Not sure if we will see it once the season starts.
  10. He (Munson) might have one of those deals where he can ask for his release if he is not called up by, say June 1.
  11. I wonder if Direct and Dish will look into it again if this one gets thru. I'm really torn on less competition in the market place; but hard to argue against more consumer choice and efficiency.
  12. The idea is that both companies will offer more choices to subscribers. for example you can buy both the NFL and Baseball regardless of which receiver you own. Both claim they can be more efficient operating as one company. Not sure about that, but I suppose they are not going to be less efficient.
  13. I've held Sirius stock for about 2 years. Selfishly, I'm going to be very happy if the FCC signs off on this.
  14. 3T0= Kim IL-Sung
  15. No matter how Geoff does; sure does look weird.
  16. Stupid law. Supply and demand. Guys want to pay for it and the girls want to provide...everyone else should stay out of it.
  17. Me and Abby kicking it in the 'hood.
  18. I agree with End. If Prince would leave via FA we get the pick and save the $. We keep him as long as possible, then move on as needed.
  19. And That is spot on...That is what I thought too... NED IS WATCHING!
  20. Try to remember the Friday stuff...and more so I'm shooting with trying to do something (like be more grateful) rather then give something up.
  21. Debt reduction. Be like spitting into the Atlantic, but whatever.
  22. Still a pretty big deal...wow.
