  2. I think LaPorta has a much higher upside. Where as Brantly is going to be a soild player no matter what. With his outstanding speed and bb/k he would be the ideal fit for the brewers leadoff role.
  3. I have 4 extra brewers/ trats bobbleheads from earlier this year. I previously sold a couple for $30. I am looking for a braun Nashville or a retro stripe if you would rather trade
  4. I have some brewer-trat bobbles if you are interested. i have pic
  5. Even though Hoffman has been one of the few upsides of the brewers this season and it would be awesome for a brewer to be the first 600 save closer. In 2010 and the future it makes logical sense for the brewers to offer him arb and hope he doesn't take it. In return the brewers would receive a sandwich pick and a first round pick (or second). We dont want a repeat of 2009 when we have an above average closer with one of the wosrt pitching staffs , the money needs to be spent on 2 starting pitchers. In addition i think Coffee has done more than enough to solidify the closer role. As for set up man..... well thats a problem.

  8. I would really like this move. crawford would bring a leadoff hitter to replace Lopez. I think the crew wouldnt need to add anythign special for 2yrs hart vs 1 yr of crawford. also note that 2 years of hart will cost about the same as one year of crawford. 2010 lineup Lf crawford 2b weeks RF braun 1B fielder 3b McGehee Cf Cameron C rivera ss escobar Cam said he would take a cut to stay in milwaukee, I say is value is from 7-8 million.
  9. I suggested this a while ago, the only problem is that he is an A type free agent. Offensivly he would fill the large gap that slowed us down in 2009. Even though I think add Molina would improve this team, the money is spent better elsewhere (starting pitching)
  10. change of price $20. get back to me by 430
  11. i have 4 infield loge level ticket for both Tuesday and Wednesdays games but i cant make it. I will sell them for only $29 ( infield loge cost 50 for cub games and 36 for other games). I live in Oshkosh but i will be at the games on Sunday and Monday. If you are interested let me know.
  12. Prince hasnt changes a bit. Just add some tats and chew and they would be identical twins. Maybe prince is our answer for next years SP. Yo, prince, _______, bush, parra
  13. I remembered when the Indians were looking into Green and wanted to move him to 2B. I think his numbers would make him an average second baseman and he would be below average at 3rd or 1st
  14. I would agree that we need a bride gap from gallardo. But i believe the brewers need to add 2 pitchers.
  15. Good to see him not taking up a spot any more. What will his status be next year? can another team take him in the rule 5 draft?
  16. reading the article I can see those two go through the system together, similiar to what the brewers did with prince, weeks, feilder, and hart. Very exciting
  17. Considering Harang is a better pitcher than Looper, does it make since for Milwaukee to trade Hall for Harang and buyout Looper? Hypothetically if the Brewers made the trade and bought out Looper, Harang's contract would cost them 6.75 M. This is taking into consideration 2010 contracts and future buyouts. A pretty big steal rather than paying Hall 8.5 M for no contribution. Bill Hall Aaron Harang (if traded) Looper 2009 6.9 M 11 M 4.75 M 2010 8.5 M 12.5 M 6.5 M or.75 M buyout 2011 9.25 M or .5 Buyout 14 M or 2.5 Buyout 2010 + buyout 9M 15 M SOURCE: Cot's baseball
