I can understand the thinking behind trying to steal there, but if you are going you have to know you will make it. I thought him getting thrown out was ridiculous. The staying in the dugout thing was just kinda uncomfortable.

I think the Jeter one is to open the season, because it also says "extend his NL record" in there too. So his current streak and Jeters are just for opening a season and the other ones are just anywhere streaks.

So the refs never saw the angle that showed the ball go off of Winslow's fingers. The head of officiating sees that replay after the refs have left the table, but decides to let it go. I think it's absurd that they never saw the replay in the first place -- what is up with that? On one hand I see why he didn't go down and have them look at it, but on the other I don't know how you sit there and say oh wow they got it wrong, I'll do nothing. I'm not trying to say the refs cost us the game because of that call, because we didn't play well down the stretch. But they made so many bad calls and missed calls, going both ways, that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth... and who knows how we could have played down the stretch if we didn't feel like the refs were against us (not sure if that's how the players felt, but that's how I felt so I can imagine that's how they would feel). That link I posted clearly shows it. The only way his finger bends like that is if the ball is impacting it. His middle finger is the only one that moves. Try moving just your middle finger like that, you cant do it unless you use something else to do it.

Im so heartbroken right now. Dukes big guys being in foul trouble the whole game helped them, because we neither took advantage of it nor finished them off. They were able to come in well rested at the end and Frank especially was visibly tired. And the refs...dont get me started. They ruined a very good game.

This is so true. My wife is a non-sports watcher and its like pulling teeth to watch sports. If its not packers, brewers, badgers, i get a stern look and the comment "its not even the ____ playing". its not common to have days off together and today is one of those days. I pretty much had to give her the rest of my day to be able to watch tonights game live. [sarcasm]Good thing the brewers season doesn't start till tomorrow[/sarcasm] cause i had no shot at watching both games today.

I know they say to never say anything negative about previous employers in an interview, but what should you do if you were fired from you last job and the interviewer asks why you were fired and the explanation requires you to say negative things about that employer. Basicly, is it worse to not expand on why you were fired or potentially bad mouth a previous employer?

Silver lining of maybe now instead of probably making the playoffs and losing in round 1, we can fall back in the lottery and get another high pick and really have a shot next year...maybe? Though it really really sucks for Parkers development.

Thats because davis was hurt. Because of the expanded rosters, we just didn't really hear about it.

Then you have to click through every tab to find the right one. It's even worse when the ad is part way down the side of the page. I use chrome and theres a little sound icon on the tab which has sound coming from it. Makes it easy to see which is the problem tab.

I agree. The division winner was supposed to have the advantage, but this year the top team from both leagues combined for a single win against the wild card. -
I think its funny that with all the pinch hitters, the one that got a hit was the one that didn't stay in.
