The Cubs don't have the great farm system the Sox do that he can use to trade for guys. He'll make them better but it's not going to happen for a few years.
That was the genuine Nyjer after the game. From being speechless to dropping F bombs. People are going to get up in harms for the language but that was Nyjer not T Plush.
No the Lawrence Welk show with the sisters where Kristen plays that deformed girl which is a blatant rip off of the character Rachel Dratch used to do.
I thought the opening skit was terrible. Possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen, but I really don't like most of what Kristen Whig does. The rest of the show was pretty good though.
I'll refer to my previous post. The Miz/Truth attack is furthering along the fact that Triple H has no control. He's too focused on Punk and eventually someone is going to come in and take his job. Vince most likely, Steph maybe.
Woser. That exchange between Triple H and Punk might have been the best wrestling television I have ever seen. Intense, drifting in and out of kayfabe, passionate, great crowd. Great stuff.
Don Money asked me to hold his coffee for him during Spring Training a few years ago and he's been my biggest supporter ever since! But seriously, I did get to hold his coffee for him.
I know a lot of people here don't like baseball brawls and all the other shenanigans but how awesome would it have been for Morgan to channel his former hockey player persona (T. Plushinski?) and pull Alberta's jersey over his head and pummel him.
I don't get the hate for the DH. I like that the leagues are actually different unlike every other sport. Adding a DH in the NL would really hurt the cheap teams as they won't/won't want to pay for another hitter. It would really help the Crew though.
Right back at you Chris. Gotta love TLR's "we're more classy that you" comment. "If they ever use it like he did, we would ban tweeting," La Russa said.
I think/hope the HHH/Nash heat is all part of a work to get at Punk. I want Nash to come down and cost Punk the match letting HHH and Nash to run the company...into the ground. And Vince swoops in to save the day.
