  1. Meh can’t 2nd guess the manager when Hader gives it up. I am still 2nd guessing the 2 run Ashby inning though.
  2. Can’t really blame the manager for anything when the team scores 0 runs. You should be able to set a line up by picking names out of a hat and expect 1-2 runs.
  3. I can still dream about trades where we package Woodruff with Cain for some hitting prospects
  4. I think Yelich might still be tradeable, at this point I would probably happily throw in prospects to do it
  5. In a poll of 5 CBS experts, Wheeler was the overwhelming favorite. Burnes got a single 2nd place vote and no 1st/3rd places votes.
  6. Does the Dodgers series have any impact on whether the Dodgers get a 1 game WC or go straight to a 5 game series?
  7. If Scherzer loses the ERA title it’s not so easy to make a case for him. Does he have anything over Burnes besides about 10 IP and 4 wins? Honestly I think he wins it anyway
  8. Yeah I would be platooning Yeli and batting him around 6th. Dodgers were doing the same to Bellinger before he got hurt.
  9. If SD had ponied up for Scherzer I would feel better about our WS chances
  10. Cy Young race still pretty tight, I think Scherzer wins it over Burnes as of today. Still have a few starts to go though.
  11. I am expecting us to be in the 15-20 range. Ashby is the one obviously underrated prospect I think we have, I feel like he should be pushing top 50 overall. We have a few guys (Gray, Howell, Black) who have put up nice numbers but I question if their current approach will carry them through the upper minors.
  12. Based on strikeout rate and BABIP I would guess he's trending towards a .250 hitter in the big which is still something to get excited about. Also it seems like the sky is the limit for his power.
  13. Trade Woodruff for a mega deal and keep Lauer and Hauser
  14. Well if it’s against the Dodgers it’s worth remembering that they (the Dodgers) have struggled against LHP starters this year, and of course Lauer has a history of dominating the Dodgers himself. I think about 3 innings from each may be the best approach, depending how things are going
