Overall, it’s a bad start. But we have some bright spots with Cain, Narvaez, and Shaw. If they can have good seasons, I feel like the other problems are fixable (Hiura demotion, Yelich power will come, Wong and Bradley average will improve).
Seeing Arcia at 3B is really frustrating especially with our ice cold offense and his bad ABs to start the season. If it were up to me he would never start at 3B.
26 of 28 in offense entering today, it looks like they are on track to finish the day 27 of 28 Ok, I re-read this a few times trying to understand. What does 26 of 28 refer to? 26th place out of 28 teams which have played games
We do Netflix, Hulu, Discovery for about $50, I thought cable was about $85 with limited or no on demand content. We would get Netflix with cable so I think that means the Brewers thru cable would cost us about $50/month, maybe $5/game.
Perez also has taken some crazy team friendly contracts up til now and while I usually will assume the worst of owners during negotiations, they might have let him cash in a little bit due to previous deals
I put more stock into the fact that Arcia has been the worst offensive player in baseball over the past 3 years (by 8 points on WRC+, a healthy margin) but to each their own, I guess
RotoWire News: Urias (hamstring) is in the lineup at shortstop for Sunday's spring game against the Mariners, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports. (3/14/2021)
Although Arcia is only 26, it's probably more likely that he makes a long MLB career as a SS/CF/2B util guy than has an offensive breakout at SS. He has the tools to play CF and his bat sort of plays there as a part time guy.
Arcia never really hit in the minors, his best year was in AA with an empty .307 avg (low HR and walk numbers). Urias has shown average, walks, power in AAA over a lot of plate appearances (granted, the power was only in 2019). He's a lot better of a prospect offensively than Arcia ever was.
