The Brewers announce... C Omar Narváez placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring. C Mario Feliciano recalled from the Alternate Training Site.
My predictions... Dodgers 0-2 @Phillies 2-2 @Marlins 2-1 Cardinals 1-2 Braves 2-1 @Royals 1-1 @Reds 1-2 Padres 2-2 @Nationals 2-1 Tigers 1-0 14-14. I was wrong last month, but I’ll double down and say the Brewers tread water in May only to go on an epic tear through the month of June.
Well this worked so well for April that I guess we should probably do it again. Get your predictions in even if they’re a day or two into the start of May. Dodgers 2 @Phillies 4 @Marlins 3 Cardinals 3 Braves 3 @Royals 2 @Reds 3 Padres 4 @Nationals 3 Tigers 1 28 Games Total

Counsell on Narvaez: "We are going to get some tests done. At this point, it's day to day until we know more." Pablo Reyes was the emergency catcher tonight, apparently.
Depending on the outcome of the Giants-Padres game tonight the Brewers may finish April tied with the Giants for the best record in the National League.
I’ve seen Jimmy Nelson look pretty good at times out of the Dodgers bullpen this year, but tonight wasn’t one of them. He was erratic and got away with some bad pitches.
Not terrible. Though most hamstring pulls don't look bad so not saying much. I'd be neither surprised if he's back in the lineup tomorrow nor if he's out two weeks. Agree that it was impossible to tell. The part that worries me is that he was signaling for timeout and basically taking himself out of the game so quickly.
I’d love to see that because it looks like he’s rolling right now, but he’s at 91 pitches and his season high so far is 93. He’s hit 100+ pitches 3 times in his career, but 2 of those were back in 2018.
It was crazy that Angel Hernandez never even saw Narvaez’s turn or bothered to look at him, he just reacted to the fact that he saw Narvaez diving back towards the first base bag. Also, Mike Petriello mentioned that he thought Angel Hernandez had “sorta called timeout” after the ball was fielded off the side wall. I missed that and didn’t go back to watch it yet, did anyone else notice that?
Dodgers announced RHP Edwin Uceta will begin the bullpen day against the Brewers. It will be Uceta’s MLB debut. Keston Hiura out of the starting lineup for the 3rd game in a row. He’s been used as a pinch hitter in the past two.
The Dodgers have six RHPs (Uceta, White, Santana, Nelson, Treinen, Jansen) and three LHPs (Cleavinger, Alexander, Gonzalez) in their bullpen. I would guess this is one of those days we see a mostly alternating L-R-L-R lineup for the Brewers.
