    ...its not the same diff because they were in position to achieve a lot more. The best argument against waiting until the deadline to go out and get a bat was displayed this weekend. If you wait to get a bat you might lose a crapload of games waiting for the deal to be made thus eliminating the need later on. This season could go south in a big fat hurry. We got punked.

    A few days ago I didnt think anything was going to be able to spoil the upcoming series at Miller vs the Cubs. This 4 game sweep has done just that.

    Good timing by Yost. Not only does Jenks need a physical and mental rest but this gives Ned the chance to let his best hitter (not meant to start a debate) get a shot in a late inning important situation. Jenks will have an impact on game one in the 7th, 8th or 9th!! Lets get game 1!

    Ladies and gentleman, Entering play today your Milwaukee Brewer pitching staff leads MLB in WHIP. Unbelievable. If Yost and Melvin dont win Manager and GM of the year something is wrong with the world. A 20-something million payroll and they lead in WHIP in late June??? Come on, that is just plain awesome. Adams, Bennett, Viz, Kolb, Kinney and Brooks just flat out rock.

    Any chance Adams can be converted into a starting role? He rules. Santos is becoming a legit big league commodity. If Milw falters he might tempt a contender or two in a deal.

    You have GOT to believe that Melvin is looking for a right handed bat to play either left or right. This offense is for crap. Time to make a deal before this steamrolls into another joyless summer. I still cant believe they lost last night and now this. They should be ashamed. Now they have Johan ***** Santana tomorow. I would be suprised if they get on the board tomorow. They will be lucky to get 1 game in the dome.

    With this recent surge in attendence it seems like they may actually draw 2 mil. They still have all the cub games where they will probably draw in the 40's. I love seeing the seets filled. MP looks way better with bodies in the chairs!!

He was obviously in discomfort after that play and even mouthed the F bomb as he was attempting to wiggle his shoulder free of pain. What are you watching??? He obviously tweeked the shoulder in some capacity. He was laying flat on his gut, his arm extended and almost rolled up on his face. His shoulder flexability was sincerely tested.

    OH OH.... did JR just pop his shoulder? Lets hope he just hyper extended it a bit and he doesnt go JJ Hardy on us. Crap. Sometimes its better to concede a single with 2 outs rather than dislocate your shoulder.
