    Why would you walk the guy to get to Puljos. I know that sets up the DP but why put another guy on who is going to score now. As I type this COffey lights the field on fire.

    If you were going to send Gamel down, wouldn't you just The Hurricane to replace him. Mcgehee will pretty much play everyday at 3rd, so you would only need a UTL guy up then to cover the middle.

    Thats fine that Burns isnt a MLB SP, but its not like there are a whole lot of options out there or internally. Melvin cant make the pitching prospects grow more experienced over night, heal all injuries or remove the impulse control of a 2yr old from others.

I find extremely laughable to think that people feel that Melvin is doing nothing to try to improve the team. Just because you dont hear rumors(which he has stated his is careful of instigating) doesnt mean he isnt on the phone. If you think that he is sitting back, throwing his hands up and doing nothing that you are pretty naive.**General statement, not directed at anyone**

    Essentially Melvin is telling Braun to shut his mouth and worry about scoring runs and doing his job and leave the business of running the team(which Braun has no business or knowledge of) to Melvin and his support staff.

    They said that he more then likely will not be available to pitch till next year due to the legal process he will have to go through.

    How Brewers of them. They have to lead the majors with not scoring with men on 2nd or 3rd and no outs.

    Well at this point you would expect it to be a wash offensively and defensively with only AE running ability being the only advantage. While AE's defense is really good, it isnt that much drastically better then JJ's to warrant him playing time.

    That would be a good theory if other teams had trouble too. I mean if there were a bunch of 1-0 games then yes I could see there being a concern. Why do visiting teams seem to have no problem, but the home team does? Now with that said, there probably is a pretty bad glare that need to be taken care of.

    Baseball is a money pit and a dying sport in college. People fail to remember that people really didnt care about baseball when it was here the first time, why would they care now.

    I would imagine it is just the Brewers doing their due diligence. For what he wants and what he can offer I dont think he is worth the money.

    While in Vegas and killing an hour, me and my wife did the CBS show preview. Harpers Island was the show that they had us review. They showed us the pilot and in my rating I said that I wouldnt have made it 5 minutes into the show. After watching it the only thing I could think was that the writers had just watched "Scream", "I know what you did last summer" or even "Scary movie" and just took elements of each. Also it is like they went down the genre checklist for characters, strong female(check), male protagonist(check), loner(check), slutty and/or stuck up rich girl(check), effeminite male comic relief(check), clueless police(check) and so on.

    He is on the other end of the spectrum of Joba Chamberline. While Chamberline get over excited to the point that it can effect his pitching, Parra just looks defeated or dumbfounded to the point that it looks like he doesnt know whats wrong. When he was taken out, the first thing I thought was that he is getting sent down. My next thought was that, just going off his body language and the way he seems to handle things, it wouldn't surprise me if he just up and quit baseball.

    Actually this is more like a kid(readers that email him) screaming over and over that there is a monster in the closet. After awhile as a parent you have to go in there and show them that there is nothing there know full well that of course there is going to be nothing there.

    Alone the comment is dumb in most situations, with Stockton's qualifier in regards to starting fresh the next inning it makes sense.

    This whole TH being mean spirited towards readers reminds me of my roommate in college when after getting a ticket asked me why cops are such meanies (substituted for another word). My response was that they are like that from having to deal with idiots(not the word used) like you everyday. Not saying this about any of you, mainly directed to those that email him and message him, but if you had to listen to and deal with the crap that if most likely sent to him on a daily basis you would come of a bit sour too. If anyone were in his position you would probably act the same, and if you say you wouldnt then you are most likely a liar. The stuff he probably gets and has to deal with is probably one step above what a telemarketer gets. As to why he didnt report of the "rumor", well it was just that a rumor with no substance(no offense Brian) to it in terms of details. So what exactly is he suppose to report on. Do you really want him to track down DM on every little internet rumor so we can have a daily blog of denials? Sorry rant over, please continue you regularally scheduled rumor thread. PS I love trade rumor threads as the next guy and come here every day looking for them.
