  1. Bill Hall is so useless. Can't wait for $6 million worth of useless next year.
  2. May as well have Yost come back. What's the difference? Leadoff walks should not be tolerated, period.
  3. I don't get the love, BA is terrible. The only explanation I can think of for TBS to do this is that he was cheap. BA- when you get to the playoffs, stringing 4 hits together means they are all in a row without 2 outs scattered in between them.
  4. If there is hope when they come back, I think the fans will be very supportive. If they tank in Cincy, and there is no hope (4.5 games back with 6 to play); I would expect a ton of no shows for the Pirates series, and 90% Cubs fans for the last 3. I am still going to go to the Cubs games, but I might go incognito (without any supportive Brewers gear). I might also bring some paper bags.
  5. Unfortunately, I have tickets left. I sure hope those awesome, white surrender towels are on their way. That was fun last year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Not.
  6. The ghost of Yost comes back to haunt us all with another manager who cannot pull the trigger on his closer who really isn't a closer. This team has talent, but it still seems bush. A playoff appearance would just be embarrassing.
  7. Date: Now Attn: Cory Hart Subject: Stop Sucking!! Mr. Hart, please do not swing at pitches you couldn't hit if you were 8 feet tall with a 54" bat. Thank you, Ned
  8. If only the Brewers could have a 3B with Ramirez-type production, they could possibly have 91 wins.
  9. Sure would have been a perfect time for it!
  10. Looks like the Brewers are going to have to get a hit afterall.
  11. Jim Edmonds absolutely owns Dave Bush. He should be an instant IBB every time up.
  12. Notwithstanding the injury news, but what what a break for the Brewers at this point.
  13. We need someone to start something special, and the Brewers couldn't have a better guy on the mound. Start it up CC! Its a brand new season, and one that is absent of the germ!
  14. Personally, I think Ned's hypertensive and condescending personality, combined with his ultra-poor game management, contributed to the Brewers collapse more than prior years' results.
  15. A Ted Lilly no-hitter would have added to an already insane day.
  16. Yeah, only my wish came true a year later!!
  17. Goodbye Ned Yost. You will no doubt go down in history as the manager who ruined the CC trade. Not only does he seem to be a painful guy to be around, he is a painful guy to have around. Good luck with this one Atl, your gonna need it.
  18. Goodbye baseball 2008, hello football.
  19. phillies >>>> brewers I don't see how the records are close. Game ova!
  20. singles for 3 runs? What a crazy model. Bill Hall is one useless hitter.
  21. redefining suck, one inning at a time.
  22. instead we get, "...see if we can't get on a big roll." How about we see if we CAN get on a roll Ned.
  23. I just might be able to take one step back from the ledge.
  24. Just checked the score and see the Crew pulled it out. Guess I get to keep my Cubs tickets.
  25. I am a Phillies 4-game sweep away from selling all of my Brewers/Cubs tickets. Only problem with that is the Cubs fans are jumping off their own train wreck.
