  1. I agree to some extent but how much of this is one overly sensitive kid that doesn't like to be pushed? If you made me pick a side just based on all I've heard, that's where I would land on this one.
  2. King and Gard Speak This is some drama, wow.
  3. Must not look at your own posts then.
  4. All rumors but I work with a teacher and Principal that worked in Lacrosse and taught King while he was there. They said that Gard was always on King and there was a moment in a game in December that Gard chewed him out in front of the home crowd which set all this into motion and finally broke this past week or so. Take that for what it is worth.
  5. I'm glad they are going this route. I used to be a Never DH'er but because 99% of pitchers have lost interest in the craft of bunting and hitting, or hell, even base running... it is time to move on and abolish pitchers hitting. If a pitcher like MadBum wants to hit, then you can DH some games.
  6. A lot of overreaction to a manager that has won 53% of his games over the course of managing four different franchises. The guy has never been in a place and lost. I'm sure he will do just fine with the talent that will be given to him in Houston.
  7. Gard is fine as long as he keeps his recruiting classes intact. If they completely fall apart, he probably doesn't last at Wisconsin long term. I do agree that Twitter is just simply ridiculous with how most behave. For me, if King doesn't want to be a Badger anymore, goodbye and good luck. That's about the end of it. Now, if it were to come out that Gard did something crazy to trigger this, then we can have a different discussion on him. But if it just comes down to King now liking the system, or the coaches being too hard on him, then simply goodbye and good luck.
  8. I would be okay with them moving on from Brad Davison. At what point do you stop defending him and allowing his antics to continue? What a bad look right now for the program with his actions and a player simply not traveling with the team.
  9. Who is trying to fool anyone? If it makes you feel better, I can wear a disclaimer sign around my neck so everyone knows I'm not trying to fool them. I am far past the point of trying to impress anyone with material objects such as baseball jerseys. I simply don't care. I ordered one so that when I do wear it, I don't have to worry about it getting wrecked by some idiot at a game, or myself for that matter. If I get a stain on a $20 jersey, no sweat off my back. If I get a stain on a $300 jersey, that would be a problem for me. Hell, if I was foolish enough to spend $300 on a baseball jersey, I would be scared to wear it. A big reason I never buy jerseys is that I will have ketchup, nacho cheese, or pizza sauce down the front of if before walking out of the store with it. Your point is spot on.
  10. The division will be tough. It always is. You cannot control what other teams do. We've battled and destroyed the last two years of the Cubs "dynasty" while many said that the Brewers wouldn't compete for years to come. The Brewers are going to continue to stick with what they believe is best for what they are trying to accomplish and it has been working for them. It might be time for some fans to buck up and start trusting our front office a bit instead.
  11. Going after Rodgers for that fumble is just silly. There has been plenty in his game to discuss but that isn't one of them.
  12. Braun’s the only real stud left.
  13. I like it. He's correct in what he says and for all the talk the Packers players did in the week leading up to the game, they did not back it up by any means.
  14. MLB Offseason Spending The complaints about not spending continue to not add up. Brewers continue to be in the middle of the pack with spending even though they are the smallest market.
  15. I would be curious as to why you think this? I don't really see any evidence in it changing.
  16. Please name the 10 QBs you believe are above him.
  17. Fun season. Hopefully, they have a vision and the decision making ability to take this team up another notch and get back to this position next season. So many variables every season. Need to continue to stack talented players all throughout their roster and hopefully our coach will grow and learn lessons from this season.
  18. Well, that extra point/two point conversion took us from a 2-score game to now a 3-score game.
  19. The score is actually about what I expected it to be. The way the game played out was definitely not expected.
  20. Those first half turnovers playing large.
  21. Why? This looks like the Badgers playing Ohio State.
  22. Stinks that you wait all day for this and this is what you get. I didn’t think they’d win this game but I thought it’d be competitive and come down to a few plays. What I’m watching here is just sad and pathetic. Stinks.
  23. Rodgers is a magician because he chooses to play that type of game. I think he’s broken and I’m not sure he will ever be fixed. He will never play within a system completely like some of the greats have as they’ve aged. It might truly be what holds them back of winning another one while he’s around.
