  1. That situation was a mess 99% because of the player you loved. Eh, that’s just simply not true. He was a part of it, sure, but this is just not correct.

  3. I love how you phrase this as if that “all star” wasn’t a complete turd a season ago. But yes, Stearns is awful.

  5. I am moving the amount of moves being made to secure depth at positions in question. The more darts thrown the better. I also think we are in a peak sherzie time with all the roster re-tooling Stearns does every year. We are going to look back on some classics a few years from now.

  7. While I don’t hate anything Packers related, football fandom changed for me after that debacle. Not because my first player love moved on to another team but the entire situation was such a mess it turned me off towards being so invested. I don’t think I’ve followed the Packers/NFL nearly as close as I used to.

  9. Agreed. Will it work this year? Who knows. But I think it’s exciting that we are piling in players and allowing Counsell to work his magic (hopefully) and get the most out of players that have shown they can be productive at the MLB level.

  11. It doesn't really ignore it so much as it places more emphasis on MM's more recent teams. From 2007 to 2011 it seemed like MM was maybe ahead of the curve relative to other NFL coaches. From 2012 onward, I'd say he started to get passed up & left farther & farther behind. From 2012 onward they won the division 4 out of 5 seasons and made 2 NFC Championship games. All while Ted Thompson fell asleep at the wheel.
  12. That's kind of a strawman if you are replying to my one tongue in cheek post. It wasn't. Just a general statement towards the RB/MM situation during his time in GB.
  13. I don't get the McCarthy hates RB's crowd? Other than not trusting Jones in the backfield at times, he's shown plenty in regards to developing a running game. And it usually occurred with just okay backs. He will do fine for Dallas. He's a good head coach that doesn't get his due from a lot of Packer fans.
  14. Good for Mike! Plenty of talent there to win right away.
  15. Wilson has his worst stat line (82 rating versus his 101 career line, completion % under 60, 6.5 YPA, >200 yards per game) against the Packers including being 0-3 at Lambeau Field. Fans have selective memories when it comes to certain things and this is one of them. The Packers are in a great spot this Sunday night. I hope they take advantage of it.
  16. Drew Brees isn’t a whiney little brat like our QB can be.
  17. I want to see Brees/Rodgers at Lambeau. What a matchup that could be.
  18. Lotti might be getting paid under the table. It's about the only thing that can explain that incompetence.
  19. No Taylor (most likely) next season means our passing game will have to improve. I don't think Coan is the guy to do that but he had a fine season for what they asked him to do. It was crappy to see him crumble against Illinois and in this game when pressured. He's going to see a lot more pressured situations next year because they will need to throw the ball better to open up the run game.
  20. I’m more so laughing at #21 playing 10 yards off the ball. At least it ended on more stupid football by the Badgers. What a garbage game.
  21. Terrible loss to an inferior team.
  22. No excuse to be carrying the ball that way. Stupid stuff today guys.
  23. Coan... ish. I really hope Mertz is the real deal and beats him out this spring and we can add another part to our offense.
  24. UW is better than this team. Time to go down and separate.
