Okay, we are showcasing how awesome the bat is but with the horrid defense Hiura has, what could we snag from an AL team that has the luxury of the DH for this guy?
-
[sarcasm]No, no. This doesn’t work because they sent him down and then we became a bad baseball team.[/sarcasm]
-
I’m on board with trading Hiura to the AL and finding a 2B. He’s terrible.
-
Just because he doesn’t have drastic splits doesn’t mean he’s the best option to hit against a lefty. I would guess Perez has better numbers vs LHP. Maybe he is but Grisham bit lefties in the minors and if he never sees them in the pros, he will actually become a platoon player.
-
So people want Grisham to start but are having an issue with him here? He doesn't have bad splits versus lefties and has pop in his bat. WAY too much is being made of lefty-lefty. This board is infected in the mind with this crap.

Nolan Ryan scoffs at this. We are going to be on pace for 180 soon here.
-
Yes, back to firing Stearns!
-
Ray on pace for 160 pitches to get through the 8th. Should be fun to follow.
-
Why should it be bases loaded? Moose shouldve been rung up.
-
There’s your makeup.
-
Gotta be hard to control yourself. You work a great AB and then that.
-
.291 and climbing.
-
Ray is already at 56 pitches. He's not pitching into the 8th Have you seen Arcia and company? Some of these guys may have no idea that's the approach to take. Hope you are right. Arcia drew like a 7 pitch walk in AB #1.
-
Nice to clear the pitcher in the 2nd inning. Hopefully, the second time around we will get a few.
-
The trek to .300, continues...
-
How is Arizona in salvage games?
-
Agree. Guy showed up for us when needed last year.
-
Yes, something special but fire Stearns!
-
Meh. Every fan in the league says things like this about their own players. We don’t have 60 type guys because they aren’t very good, not because there is some sort of bias against Milwaukee. Those guys are in Milwaukee now helping us win major league games. Stearns will find some more.

Braun would’ve hit two homers off this bum already.
