  1. Agreed. My bad fellas. Really didn’t mean to offend anyone.
  2. Yes, he is making a selfish decision. And he has every right to do so. But I also have every right to call him a bum we wasted time and resources on. Hey, I am really sorry to hear Wang didn’t sign your ball/card. I am sure he didn’t mean anything by it. Obviously we didn’t want them, no MLB team wanted to trade for them, and the only thing interested in these two pitchers(that they also wanted) was a foreign league. Giving them to foreign teams doesn’t mean anything or make us look bad. We literally did what was considered in the players best interest. We probably look good if anything. I don’t see why you are so up in arms about this. Clearly they had little chance to make a MLB impact this year and we didn’t even want to keep them around. Would you be this upset if we just released them? What is the difference. If we planned on any use with them they would still be here. Not upset. Not up in arms. Just have a different stance on the issue. So like most things on this forum, if you have a different stance it’s not okay. Most likely we’ll all forget they even were in our system. Just more to the point that we have let other guys get picked up by other teams while we kept these two. And then, we let them head to Korea without really getting anything. Calling them bums really is a nothing to see here comment made a much larger issue for what reason, I’m not really sure. Villar is called worse and he’s actually helped us.
  3. Yes. Funny, I didn't see you call him a bum when we let him leave. Oh? Okay. Next time I’ll make sure to post it. It’s probably to do more with the fact that this is the second one in a couple of days. Couple of quitters. But I guess I’ll just fall in line with others. Good luck boys! I sure hope you make so much money over there. Hope we will see you stateside some day! Hugs and kisses! They better? My god, move on.
  4. Every MLB does this. This is not a terrible precedent or something only the Brewers do. Two guys we have kept on our roster above other players like the guy we lost a few weeks ago and the guy in last years draft. These two could have helped our pen in the future and we let them walk, for nothing. It just doesn’t seem all to smart of the roster construction.
  5. Upset? Making mountains out of mole hills around here. Said good riddance and called him a bum. Some get ********* (but-t hurt is blocked? Comical) by that for whatever reason. Personal well-being. That’s great stuff.
  6. I was thinking Nunez would be our play all over the field guy Perez was, not our starter at 2B.
  7. I actually think the Brewers are setting a terrible precedent this offseason by allowing Wang and Jungmann to go.
  8. Yes, he is making a selfish decision. And he has every right to do so. But I also have every right to call him a bum we wasted time and resources on. Did you feel the same way about Jungmann? Yes.

  10. If you compare the two through their age 26 seasons, Perez is a more accomplished. player. Great! Can Perez get on base? No. Okay... Eduardo Nunez it is then. To be totally honest, if Nunez is signed, I would hope that it would mean the end of Sogard but since Counsell isn't letting that happen, I'll take the next off my hit list, Perez.
  11. [list=] That's not his fault. That part isn't. But ditching out on the franchise that gave you an opportunity is.
  12. Reverse splits- Career vs. RHP: .291/.332/.415/.747 vs. LHP: .263/.295/.415/.710
  13. If he is the replacement for Perez, I'm all for it.
  14. [sarcasm]It's probably to make Perez, Sogard, and Villar sweat a bit.[/sarcasm]
  15. Klassy. Don't have any time for a guy that we wasted a roster spot on for over a half of a season (in a winning season) when he had no business being an MLB pitcher and then wants out of our organization when he is on the bubble of doing so. Not only that but anytime he was put in the game, he absolutely stunk. Happy to see him pansy out on the opportunity to be a big leaguer.
  16. Yeah, Madison would be ideal for an NHL team. There is probably enough support and it would have that Green Bay like feel to it. I do agree though that trying to fund a stadium might be almost impossible for it to happen. It is a shame that the NHL isn't in a great hockey state in Wisconsin.
  17. The Brewers will probably be paid in Bitcoin.
  18. Don’t let the door hit ya..... bum.
  19. Adding Yelich and Walker would transform this lineup into something pretty special. Especially if we can get a healthy season out of Braun.
  20. When the Marlins are asking for Acuna as a starting point for Yelich from the Braves... walk away.
  21. I love these shot in the dark type of signings. 99% of the time, we forget they even happened but you just never know.
  22. Not to get on another ESPN rant but all I've heard over the media waves from them is how they don't want to see a Bortles vs. Foles/Keenum Super Bowl. Honestly, wouldn't it be refreshing to see other quarterbacks possibly make a name for themselves? I mean, the NFL is lacking storylines every year and they finally get some new ones but they still want the same old names heading the show. Doesn't make sense to me.
  23. Bombers, thank you for sharing that data. Really interesting stuff there and it does show that spending, to some extent, does matter quite a bit.
  24. This. This is why baseball stinks to some degree. This is 100% correct. We'll be lucky if our "window" gets us anywhere or if we'll be a Pirates team that ends up winning nothing and tearing it down a few years after.
  25. So, I have AT&T right now and I pay $170 for four lines of service and get 15GB total to use with unlimited text and call. Has anyone ever done their prepaid services? I totaled it up and it would save like $35-$40 a month but it comes with the fact that you don't get #1 priority on their cellphone towers. How big of an issue is this? I live on the outskirts of Iowa City so it's not like I am in the boonies but I definitely am not in a large metropolitan area that you don't really have to worry about cell service. I also like to travel so that worries me. I head up to my hometown in northern Wisconsin and already have issues with cell service so I would hate for it to get worse. Just looking to see if anyone has any answers for some of this. Thanks!
