  1. It’s truly amazing how we continue to win games with lousy players. Hats off to Counsell and co.
  2. So much for that improved defense.
  3. I mean they're in the bottom third of the league in ERA despite Josh Hader. I would say more just not very deep rather than worn out. That I could understand. The worn out part I just don’t see. They’ve done a pretty good job managing innings.
  4. The bullpen is getting worn out? Any evidence to this?
  5. Sometimes pitchers are going to have bad days. It happens. We haven’t had many of them. Time for the offense to pick up Suter.
  6. With how volatile the pen arms are, it’s not a bad strategy to see who is actually looking good and then acquiring them in a minor trade.
  7. There’s plenty of time for him to trip over first base and blow out his arm. It’s still a good deal for him.
  8. I say go for it. I’m usually on the conservative side with these situations but Freddy is a guy that has the stuff to get this done. Make some history!
  9. They have lost 4 when leading after 6, 2 when leading after 7, and none when leading after 8. Appreciate it. I figured it was low.
  10. Man, we have a lot of guys we could replace Haines with right on these message boards!
  11. vs Detroit (1-0) vs Arizona (3-1) @ Cincinnati (1-2) vs Pittsburgh (2-1) vs Cincinnati (2-1) @ Colorado (2-2) @ Arizona (2-1) vs Colorado (2-1) vs Chicago (2-1) Going aggressive: 17-8
  12. Shaw needs to work left field for a bit and he will be just fine. Been a bit too pull-happy lately but has also hit into a lot of outs with line drives. I think it is too early to jump ship on the guy. Maybe into July if the stat line doesn't look good. Hopefully, Urias is ready to just take 3B and play a bunch anyways. That would provide Shaw to be a PH/defensive sub rather than being counted on to be a middle-of-the-order bat.
  13. It's June 1st. A lot can happen.
