  1. I almost wish this was like the MLB draft where no one paid attention to it.
  2. Aguilar second half of 2018: .245/.324/.436/.760 Aguilar until he was traded in 2019: .225/.320/.374/.694
  3. Yup. Better than bending over and saying can I another Marty. And yet Marty still has a say in this game.
  4. Oh, the drama! Lol, I mean, come on folks. The Brewers, just like ALL teams make decisions based on money, service time, and options. They didn't sign JBJ or Garcia to lose faith in them this quickly. The Brewers don't just hand out bigger contracts. If Cain and Yelich come back, quickly, McKinney or Taylor will be back to AAA. It is just how it works. Unless they can figure out a trade, I suppose...
  5. I'm good with his usage. Counsell has started him the last two games and has given him plenty of at-bats so far with his role. On top of that, the Brewers are winning with a collective effort.
  6. You are ok with Haines and his track record then? I understand you are the board cheerleader, and nothing and no one should be criticized, but c'mon dude. Your snark continues... But I will say that I'm sure he's just pointing out that a hitting coach is something of need but Keston has to be the one to decide to change his approach. If he doesn't, he won't be long for the MLB.
  7. Man, these types of threads have been awesome this season. We take such small sample sizes and want to make mountains out of molehills. If anything, we should just keep piling these into the fire Andy Haines thread. We've seen too many Jekyll and Hyde acts from our offense over the course of his tenure with the Brewers.
  8. Why are we letting him get smacked around?
  9. Something is odd with the Jeffress situation. It just doesn't feel right.
  10. He's a parody account. Not to be taken seriously. Well, I take it seriously. Very seriously... #RyanBraunForever
  11. So restorative justice then? The difference between today's behaviors and behaviors from the past. Not only in baseball, but life as well. Consequences have become a thing of the past. Not all consequences of the past worked or were right. I think managers, like humans, can evolve and make smart decisions with their players. There is more than one way to do things...
  12. Urias- SS Taylor- LF Garcia- RF Hiura- 1B Pina- C Wong- 2B JBJ- CF Robertson- 3B Burnes Good defensively and it stacks some good guys at the top that are good against lefties.
  13. I don't think CC has to make a statement by sitting Garcia, to be honest. Garcia isn't known for what he did yesterday and I'm sure regrets it. Sometimes a better call is to have a conversation with that player, reinforce hustling at all times, and then sticking by your guy to give him a boost and get his mind back into playing baseball. With a lefty on the mound, I'd want Garcia in there for the team's sake.
  14. And then replace those three. That’s actually the trend of this forum. Always trying to replace. Hell, there’s posters here that would probably replace Cain with Taylor for good and then call our front office cheap and stupid when he eventually stinks too.
  15. 2 of 3! Good weekend of baseball for the Brewers even if it started off pretty lousy. That is the 3rd series win this season when losing the first game of the series. Pitching and defense continues to be a great recipe. Good stuff!
  16. He better not make that mistake again the rest of his career. He could end up getting the hernan Perez treatment. Totally fair. Trying to find the positive. It’s a fair take. We will make more of it than Counsell.
  17. This isn't really true and even if he was, he never had a month this bad in 2017-18. June 2018: .200/.361/.323/.685
  18. It’s like high 30’s in Chicago. It’s also still early in the season. It simply makes no sense to ramp up right now. Good game Woody!
