  1. Duh. For some reason I had thought there was already a previous demotion but that was to get Goforth up.
  2. What about righty on righty?
  3. Maybe Braun rubbed off on him. Braun praised Carter before the season and said he expects him to surpass his previous years stats. Ya just never know what new teammates, coaches, ect.. can do for you. He was a .283 career hitter in the minors.
  4. Umm.. why? If those guys have proven all they need to in the minors, they have no business being held down. I'm really sick of this idea that we have to hold onto these players like they are golden unicorns when it comes to service time. Eventually these players have to come up and play and those three very well could be opening day 2017. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
  5. Rivera needs to be sent down. With Walsh needing to be on this team because of the rules, Rivera needs the at bats in the minors. It is doing him no good to get sporadic starts.
  6. You win the internet today Monty. Your whole post is great, but this part of it really needs to be emphasized. Seconded.
  7. Next wave is 3 years away...Braun won't be the hitter he is today I'm in the pool that thinks it's sooner. The minute Arcia, Phillips, Hader arrive (2017) this team is in position to start moving forward. Having a top end player like Braun who carries himself the right way will be a big help to those younger players. So unless you get a franchise changing group of players for him, I truly feel he's best served in a Milwaukee uniform.
  8. We won't have a better hitter on our team in many, many years. Pitching wins but Brauns bat is very special and can be s huge part of the next wave to come.
  9. Doing his best to keep our streak alive of not having a starter pitch more than 5 innings. Jeesh...
  10. Peralta pitching better but boy, still giving up a lot of hits.
  11. Perfect game to let Braun bat here and get him outta the game. Let him rest.
  12. Hill had an very nice at bad there that leads to a walk. Perfect time for Maldy to get his first knock of the season.
  13. Come one. Koehler spikes two pitches and the catcher casually snags both. Get a bounce!
  14. Ryan Braun is good at baseball. Heck of an at bat there!
  15. Off to a good start today. As much as wins don't mean a heck of a lot this season towards playoffs, this team still needs to win a few game to keep morale up and the spirits higher. Leads to a better culture for the young guys.
  16. His walk rate is fine. But when you can only hit .200 it kills your OBP. Last year his OBP was .307 and it's .313 for his career. We're talking Segura level OBP. Yes. He needs to be more consistent hitting. So far this year he has done a better job of that but it is early.
  17. His on base is fine when in consideration of his batting average. If he ever was to hit .250 over a season, his numbers would be very good.
