  1. Freeman definitely should be on his way out the door. Torres should be a short leash after that. There has to be guys out there or in our minor leagues that can do better than this.
  2. Having to pay over $500 to get coaching authorization in Iowa for high school athletics after I have coached in Wisconsin and New Mexico. On top of that expense, it is two weekends long and full days. Friday 5:30pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday from 8am-8pm. What a joke.
  3. Steady diet of breaking balls to Serrano Carter there. Wouldn't give in and toss him a heater. Result is a weak ground ball to end the inning.
  4. Nolasco must be pitching well because this is one of the first games I've seen the Brewers swing outside the strike zone so much. That patient approach, not really happening today.
  5. Lets stick Capuano in the rotation, he's getting the job done!
  6. Tip of the cap to Cappy right there! Keeps us alive in this game. Come alive offense, come alive!
  7. Come on Brewers offense, take advantage of the Twins not putting this one away already.
  8. If he's sore, it affects velocity and command. If he's sore, then he shouldn't be pitching. Take it to the DL and let's have a guy that will get some outs up here.
  9. Walks. Doesn't matter what kind of stuff you have, walks will be the end of you being in the majors. Get it together Jungmann.
  10. Why not let a good hitter like Jungmann swing away there? I get that you can possibly have a double play but so can any other player. Just giving away outs there.
  11. Boy is Braun smoking the ball. Maybe he's back to be healthy? Love it! We have one of the best hitters in the game on this team when he's upright.
  12. Only 2 runs, could've been way worse. I think they should have called up another pitcher instead of another OF.
  13. Jungman really needs to work that curveball down. Such a hanger.
  14. Jungmann lucky it isn't 2-0 after two batters. Inches foul down the left field line.
  15. If he could, why wouldn't they? Because hitting .220 would be an improvement over what we have now. Do you think they would be good for Trent Clark and his development? I guess I was picturing him hitting .250+ with some decent on base being better than what we have now.
  16. If he could, why wouldn't they?
  17. Yes! When this team finds some consistent pitching which I'm hoping Jungmann can figure that part out today, this team will be very exciting.
  18. What's Shane Peterson doing these days?
  19. No, I don't think most would like to see Taylor up this year no matter what. If he does start hitting, he could be called up to AAA later this year. No reason whatsoever to promote him to MLB from AA if he has a couple hot months hitting the baseball. It just doesn't make any sense for the Brewers or Tyrone Taylor. In fact, I think we'll see Roache in AAA before Taylor. I was thinking more of a September call up if he was mashing in AA. I don't think that is too far out there thinking.
  20. Sorry man, I think everyone discussed this one already. I think most would be okay with seeing Taylor later in the year if he is producing this year. He hasn't hit well enough at the level he is at to warrant a promotion. Promoting him could really stun any growth that he is going to have, and then what? Another prospect busted. Let him get going at the level he is at and get consistent before we do anything with him.
  21. Good post. i've been very hard on this guy. Mainly because I want to see Walsh play but I guess in the end, if Hill gets his act together and hits, it can only be a good thing for this years team and moving forward with trying to move him.
