    Pizza

I grew up loving Godfathers Pizza. It was my favorite. I now don’t have one near me, the one in my hometown closed years ago, and when I travel I only see them linked into dumpy looking gas stations. Pizza Hut may be heading in that same direction. Getting harder and harder to find them locally.
  2. NL Central Standings: Brewers: 88-74 Cardinals 86-76 Cubs: 83-79 Reds 80-82 Pirates 70-92 Most Valuable Player: Yelich- He looked normal this spring and hoping he has a bounce back season. Cy Young: Burnes- Takes the step to be the TOR pitcher he looks to be. Most Surpringing Player: Garcia- Dropping the weight and becoming more athletic will only help his game. Most Disappointing Player: Houser- He will continue to be pushed into the rotation and his contributions to the team will not be maximized. Under the Radar Player to Watch: Narvaez- he’s a good hitter and he will hit this season. Rookie of the Year: Ashby- Shot in the dark here as there are no real good candidates for this award. Does Urias count? I don’t know...

  4. One sleep. One more sleep!
  5. I can already hear the crack of Braun’s bat.
  6. Working in the ticket office must be exhausting.
  7. Nearly 1,000 TD Passed Between 2 QB’s It’s been a pretty incredible 30 years(ish) of quarterback play from the Packers. A whole generation of fans that don’t know what lousy feels like for much more than a season here or there. Hopefully, Love, or whoever is next, takes the baton and runs with it eventually.
  8. I’d be interested in knowing of the percentage of stadiums that use cash.
  9. It’s like ripping off a bandaid. Make the change and people will adapt. Other places have already done this. I’m sure they feel as though the time is appropriate.
  10. New to me and many....Rarely paid any transaction fee. Most of my purchases were made at the box office. There are a host of other questions with no paper tickets. A few include the popular BP and Oldtime Ballplayers promotion... do those go away too? Both offered paper coupons for tickets. How about Uecker ($1) tickets and the Arctic Tailgate? Giving group tickets (when that becomes a thing again) out becomes much more of a headache for me. Naive thinking if you think these things, among others, are not an issue with thousands of Brewers fans. The Brewers are messing with fans habits of buying tickets that go back 20 years at Miller Park. Just way too many changes in ticket policy to expect the good ol fan to adjust. People will simply stay home more, me included. And that extra “$2 non game transaction fee” for my preferred parking pass just gets more and more irritating. Habits need to change. That simple. If you don’t like it, don’t go to the games. The Brewers were behind the times and are using the Covid-19 situation to catch up. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. If you want to.
  11. So long Barry. Thanks for everything!
  12. Interesting. Did not know. Feel for him.
  13. Sorry you had to see a stinker. My first was sometime in the Mid 90's, and was definitely a stinker. Yeah, that was no bueno. I said to my wife in warmups that I didn’t have a good feeling. Celtics were draining all their warmup shots, we were not, and we looked flat.
  14. Going to my first Bucks game tonight. Excited!
  15. Need good goalies to win it all. Badgers don’t have it.
  16. The ice surface is embarrassing.
  17. That and tons of things are e-ticket only now. I would get the uproar if this were sprung on everyone a week before the season but this has been years in the making. Also don't think people are giving "old people" nearly enough credit. They'll be fine. Adapt or die, am I right? But seriously, you are correct. This is another one of those things that people grumble about because they want to talk about something and then in a few months, no one mentions it again. People will figure it out as they have in plenty of other places.
  18. The return of the chalet is a cool idea as it should never have gone away to begin with. The slide color? Who cares? AmFam field updates so far have been a good touch.
  19. Houser has stunk and will more than likely continue to stink as a starter. It’s just too bad that we actually have a decent option in Lindblom to possibly her a guy to eat some innings on top of using Houser in high leverage situations out of the pen. I’ve been beat up a few times since I’ve been beating this drum for a bit now but glad to see others awaken on this. Real poor decision by the Brewers but knew it was coming.
  20. Garcia to the Sox and Braun coming on home!
  21. I think Cain will be right around .715-.725 OPS and play good defense. I also think he will play about 120 games or so. We shall see.
  22. Malcolm Butler gets a 1yr and up to $6M contract from the Cardinals. He is someone I would have taken over King but I doubt he is going to be paid basically the vet league minimum either. Will be interesting to see the details there.
  23. I think it starts with Love. If the Packers like what they see in practices and preseason games (much like they did with Rodgers), then it opens up the conversation that they can move on from Rodgers. Then it comes down to what you see in Rodgers. If a step decline in play (unlikely), it is a no-brainer. If he looks more average, you probably leverage his name for a return. If he ends up playing elite level, you continue to take your shot with him.
