  1. Pfizer? This is how mine went also.
  2. Maybe. Depends on asking price.
  3. Garrett Mitchell has done all he can to put Milwaukee on notice that he’s ready to go. As Braun exits, maybe we have our next home grown stud ready to jump in.
  4. Maybe they don’t want to extend Rodgers? Or maybe he doesn’t want to? Who knows.
  5. I hope Rodgers feelings are okay.
  6. Why did I did it to myself? What a group of underachievers. They melt with any sort of pressure. I’m so ready for a new wave of players.
  7. Lindblom threw the ball so well at the end of last season once getting a chance to settle in. I hope we give him a chance to start the season because there is something there possibly. Woodruff - Burnes - Peralta - Lindblom - Anderson That's the rotation I'd love to see as I've made it well known that Houser doesn't belong in the rotation and could add some nastiness to that bullpen.
  8. The longest thread even and may never actually be traded.
  9. Haven't watched a Badgers game recently because I didn't want to watch that trainwreck of a team. I tuned in to the last part of the 2nd half last night and was reminded pretty quickly why I stopped watching.
  10. I think it is lousy that you create long-term deals with players and you don't know what the salary cap will be in those seasons.
  11. He might still be able to reach it if he decides to come back in July. Fresh legs. You're right!
  12. I think it is a plan for those that want to have control and think that their staff can just pitch against anyone. I have no doubt we will see Counsell being creative, mixing and matching like he normally does. Whatever he has in his gut and whatever analytics they use has been pretty awesome of the past few seasons. They have a lot of talented arms to use and it should be a fun summer to see them all being active.
  13. He probably had a good shot at getting to #1 with one more season.
  14. It is that time of year for piggybacking to be discussed. It is just not realistic long term through a season. Too many variables.
  15. Oh good. Now I can give my evaluation of Peralta to the Brewers so they select the best roster possible.
  16. Not watching live baseball is not a solution to me but to each their own.
  17. I’ll be interested to see what Grisham does this season. Cain was always going to be questionable towards the end. The pandemic didn’t help that. But, you get what you pay for and he was huge for us in 2018.
  18. Sounds like 3/5ths of an offensive line to me.
  19. And again, NO TEAM will actually have a Cap of $182.5M. With Cap carryover and reconciliation of 2020 earned and unearned incentives, each team's Adjusted Cap will be different. For example, the Colts carried over $30 million, Cap will be over $210M for them.
  20. Just blow up the cap, win the Super Bowl, and tell the league to put it on your tab.
  21. Yes, the ripple effects of this will be felt in the following seasons. That is for sure.
  22. Shaw is in for me. He just makes sense. He's looked good in his at bats and the defense is there.
  23. Andrus is also 30ish years old or so. Arcia was YOUNG when he was brought up and he was forced into playing time he probably wasn't ready for. He is now entering his prime years in this league and the main stats you want to see improvement from him, have done that. Giving up on him now wouldn't be wise. He may stink but there is still the chance he is an average hitter in this league. Also, there are plenty of hitters that I'm sure are worse than him. He just happened to actually qualify because he gets the at bats.
  24. This year will tell you all you need to know about Arcia. Either he will continue to trend upwards and have a decent prime or he will remain a guy that’s frustrating the majority of his at bats. The flashes are there. He’s started to walk more and strikeout less. Time to put together a nice season.
