Gallardo shouldn't be picked up solely because he's never been able to even compete with Cincy and STL. He's atrocious against them and it has hurt us over the years not being able to depend on him when it matters. To me, use the $13 mil elsewhere.

Hopefully we'll get one good half out of Segura. It'd be great if he figured it out and got out of his sophomore slump.

STL & CIN each have 10 games remaining with Cubs PIT has 6 games remaining with Cubs Brewers have 13 remaining with 3 coming the last three games of the season. If anyone's intersted, check out the Brewers whole month of September. All games against division except a 4 game series against MIA. Gonna be crazy exciting. -
Complete game!!!! Wooohoooooo.... Lead back up to 5! Sure would be nice to get outta Cincy with a series win.

There was a time I would have laughed at this proposal, but now, I think it would make us better than we are now... I think up until this past month or two we all would have laughed. It would be cool to see a fan favorite comeback and do well for us. Overbay has been serviceable, McGehee has been real good.

Ramirez sent with a .210 hitter coming up. Reynolds sent with .180 hitter coming up. I'll take our chances sending them. Nice outing by Garza. Pitching really well today. Any chance we could get McGehee? He could take Overbays spot as he hits RHP this season at a .330 mark. Plus spell Ramirez at 3B an would be an upgrade on the bench.

Nothing wrong with sending either guy. Sometimes chances don't work. Two perfect throws gets ya. Tip the cap to the Reds for making plays. It happens.

This also helps the Brewers this year. The Cubs should get easier to beat and they have 13 remaining games against them which is toughly 20% of their remaining games. -
September?!? Lol, I'd worry about the rest of July with the way things are shaping up. This teams true colors are showing and Lady Luck may have run it's course.

We don't have the pitchers to win a World Series let alone just winning series against the Reds and Cardinals. Throw in the fact that we have only basically have 1/2 a lineup with basically no bench. Absolutely amazing we are in first place, by 5 games... But that can change in a hurry.

This one feels over. Hard to win with your last four batters being Overbay, Segura, Schaffer, Pitcher. Talk about basically 4 outs in your lineup. It only works if Braun, Lucroy, Gomez, and Ramirez are lights out hot.

Lyle looks disinterested most of the time. I hate, HATE, that when he rolls over on a ball he puts his head down and jogs out of the box. If he's lost the fire to play hard, retire and move on. Can't stand that BS. Put pressure on the D by running somewhat hard.

It's gonna suck to head to the allstar game either tied or behind I the division. Really hope i'm wrong but my big gut is telling me that we might be heading downhill.

Boy would Zobrist do this team wonders. Would add the flexibility and bat this team needs. Brewers getting guys on, next step is hitting them in.

I hated watching Herrera 'play' outfield more than I hate seeing Schaffer bat.. at least that's how I break it down. I pretty much have more hope for Lohse to get a hit than I would Schaffer. Sad. Yep. You pretty much summed it all up. I wish we could find a utility man that could play good D and was somewhat of an offensive threat. We seem to lack that.
