  1. Hiandtight. I didnt know about that Burns interview. Where did you get that? I picked him as thinking he's the BPA at that point but said someone will fall in to our lap. Hockenson is a top 10 pick imo. So He's gone. Another BPA picking an OT at 30 with Little. He may not be BPA, just the Packers want in OT with 1st Rd contract status. Predicting here keep in mind. Harry being a Cobb replacement is just that. Cobb is gone and he plays. May not be slot but I like what I read size, strength, route running, and YAC ability. Bring back the Slant and let him get Yards. I did watch some video and he was definitely a Go get the ball WR taking the contact to make a catch versus letting a poorly thrown ball be just that. I did think about Safety around 30&37. I just cant go another draft helping the Defense even more and not helping the Offense. I even consider Fant a possibility at 17 as I think hes a lock for Seattle's pick. But then i think that's a reach and they will that draft capitol to trade up and get Smith or Sternberger later for TE. I'd be thrilled with Bush but I feel like Hockenson he's gone. 12hours to find out!
  2. I had to look at what was below us to trade down and an obvious reason is for a QB. I think Haskins will be that trade up for. Looking I figured this. Miami has a need at 13. As does Washington at 15. And the Giants need to move on past Eli Manning. Moving up to nab Haskins I'd figure the most leaves Miami to likely take Lock. Leaves Washington high and dry to ignore QB now in the 1st round. GB and NY also are capable to make a trade near exact value. Giants fans will take it as a win with the move and still having #44 makes them happy to retain such a high pick. Now what will for sure happen is Washington trades up ahead of GB to avoid this scenario some how and we instead get a top 10 player who fell due to it.
  3. This is my first prediction. Packers trade down with the Giants. It's a hard fit so bear me with all this to make it work. GB gets #17, #37, #95, and #108 Giants get #12 and #44. Trade value is 1660 GB and 1678 for NYG. Why this trade. Giants make the move for a QB ahead of Washington and to take Dwayne Haskins or Drew Lock. GB moves back to a spot where they will get value or better on whoever they draft on their big board. Move up in the 2nd round. Gain what is likely moveable 3rd/4th to trade up maybe even back in to the 2nd round. So the picks at 17 30 and 37. Hmm. It's going to be wrong because somebody better will fall in to their lap. Brian Burnes Edge FSU. 30. Greg Little OT. Since the team doesn't need him to start immediately, his upside to take over in 2020 for Bulaga and learn without pressure to start will be a benefit to perform more consistently to that upside. 37. N'Keal Harry The team's answer for Randall Cobb's departure. You know how GB does in the 2nd with WR. You have the draft ammo to trade up back in to 2nd. or in to the 3rd. 5 picks in top 100 maybe top 80?
  4. Hock and Bush I'll list their mocks in last 24hours Hock-Bush 10&11 16&12 5 in one article: 8&10, 8&10, 7&22, 7&22, 12&19 10&11 8&10 7&10 9&12 15&18(calls for Metcalf and Hakeem Butler for GB. Both WRs) Denver post (Bronco picks only but give idea where they are shooting) Bush at 10. 10&20 12&11 That's the last 24hour, 2 pages of mocks from google. Avg 9.93 & 13.87
  5. You would ask for Smoak and Kimbrel. Nevermind the asking price.
  6. Gameday has this guy either furthest outside of zone Ive ever seen or painting a Rembrandt better than Greg Maddux. Yeesh!
  7. Hey, a site put together it's own Big Board. They have 1st round names below #50 in it so approach it a little openly. Kinda reads off some stats, and in a way it'd be like a Clancy ranking! You at least get a little blurb about the player that may make you feel better about a name you hadn't heard and the Packers picked him. For Example: 206. DI Daniel Wise, Kansas Weighing in at 6-foot-3, 281 pounds, Kansas’ Wise should move inside at the next level after playing edge defender with the Jayhawks in 2018. He earned a strong 83.1 run-defense grade a year ago, ranking 17th among qualifiers. 207. RB James Williams, Washington State Williams earned the best receiving grade (90.7) of any draft-eligible back with at least 300 offensive snaps in 2018. His receiving chops should give him early opportunities in the NFL on passing downs. 208. C Ross Pierschbacher, Alabama Pierschbacher, a four-year starter for the Crimson tide, earned a career-high 76.2 pass-blocking grade in 2018. He earned 67.7-plus overall grade all four years of his collegiate career. 209. QB Easton Stick, North Dakota State Stick earned a 91.1 overall grade this past season albeit against FCS competition. He’s a fantastic athlete as well who’s leagues are a real threat. I scrolled up and Jonathon Abram is at 112. Someone I think is tied around early 2nd in a number of mocks. Maybe even a 1st here and there. Here's the link: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/draft-pffs-top-250-big-board-for-the-2019-nfl-draft Let's add a big board that seems to avg out 23 big boards. http://www.nflbigboard.com/ #11-17 is put #15.14-17.77 in avg. It doesn't get that bunched up until you get to the players in the 70-90 range. There has to be some old boards among this ranking as Jachai Polite has as high as #6 and low of 165.
  8. I get concerns on any of the 3 Clemson 1st round projects. You have 3 1st round talents on your line(or at least 1st rd talent) You play 15 games this year with only 2 being against top 20 level opponents, That trio put out 137 tackles, 41 for loss, 18.5 sacks. So 9 tackles a game, 2.6 for loss a game, 1.2 sacks a game. Out of the trio playing vs. majority college only level players. Vs. ND and Ala Lawrence didn't play, Ferrel and Wilkins combined for 1.5TFL vs ND and 1.5 Sacks which is just 1.5sacks 5 total tackles. 8 tackles, .5 sack, and 1.5TFL. I'd just expect more from lining up with that talent. I think at the next level it'll translate in to lackluster production compared to expectations. On the other spectrum, it makes Jonah Williams stand out more with the competition he faced and his results on the year. I can just feel the team will make a trade in the 1st either up from 30 or down from 12 while still getting the player they want and stealing that 2nd player they want.
  9. Cincy has played Pittsburgh 6times, Mia 3 times 9 of their 21 games vs. #13(Mia) and #14(Pitts) in HRs hit this season. Prior to yesterday Pittsburgh had as many HRs as Yelich and our Pitchers combined. Also we've now played 3games more than Cincy has with this quick LA home and @St Louis turnaround yesterday. Cincy has a far more experienced staff with only 1 who had less Games started (24) than the Trio combined of Freddy-14, Corbin-0, and Brandon-13. (27) We've got a new catcher too if maybe that matters working with our guys. How does he do with pitch calling, set-up, framing? Maybe there's a little to do with Launchpad pitching on the team because the way Grandal calls it. The sequencing being predictable. Hader has given up a HR now in 3 straight appearances. 1st pitch, 0-2 count, and 1-2 count. But all that could just be like said above, playing these teams it is a familiarity. Veteran teams getting the best of a young starters team. Come back June 10th after Milwaukee has played Pitts and Mia in the last 10games and then compare the squads.
  10. I literally dislike coming to this site and reading these posts. 3guys here just ganging up bashing the organization, staff, GM, players, money, fandom, etc. Internet Bullies. Not even 1000 posts to your names. And wow just checked. Feb join, April join, April join. After our season last year, but just complain and complain because your bandwagon fandom isn't going the way you want in the very first month of the season. Jeffress put up a 0 in the 1IP I see. Nelson is going to AAA to continue his road back. Its almost like Burnes can never go back to the BP. Another HR from Braun, Shaw hit a HR, with Thames a walk and Perez a HR. The team needs these players to bat like that. The pitching will sort itself out. Nelson return, Burnes to BP, Jeffress late inning heroics, and middle order bats performing like just that. We're still in contention at this point.
  11. In comments he said AAA hes headed to.
  12. Thames certainly needs to get more starts at 1st base. But Kershaw went yesterday and how many other LA pitchers being lefty? Tge next RH SP the team sees will be telling if CC is going to make the move we want to see. Its simply amazing both Shaw(didnt he have good spring?) And Jesus are struggling at the plate looking up at Arcia. Each of last two seasons, both above .800 OPS and Jesus' slg was higher than his OPS stands now! Team cant option any of the guys struggling without exposing them to WW.
  13. I had to go to page 11 to find my take and it was a good one.
  14. I feel a trade down will occur. Bunch of equal rated talent and QBs for others teams to trade up to 12. I actually feel the TEs will be selected. 1st depending how far they fall. Drop to 16-22 take Fant depending on Hockenson's fall.
  15. Here's a terrible mock draft. Brought to you by NFL.com's own Chad Reuter http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001027100/article/chad-reuter-2019-sevenround-nfl-mock-draft-round-1 4 QBs gone by pick 9. Drew Lock whom some mocks have to us at #30 is picked 2nd! after Oakland trades up 2 spots! for that 4th pick, a 2nd rd, and one of the team's 2020 1st rd pick. That is ugly as it gets. Because SF is certainly not picking a QB, and he predicts the Jets would trade #3 to a team for Drew Lock then all the way down to 9 or 10. A guarantee not to get Allen or Bosa? Gotta be a Jets fan and it's his only way he can get Bosa in his mind for NY. I might remember wrong on Lock to us and thinking of Daniel Jones. Sorta interchangeable names.
  16. You two are kidding me right? What a disrespect to Milw fans thinking they have no clue on the #1 prosect on the team. He played in 22games this spring training. Pretty sure the club frequently signs their 1st pick during a homestand. It's called hype. You give fans something be buzzed about, add interest. Now for a guy like Freddy Peralta or Woodruff they weren't #1 in the team's pipeline or draft pick. Well, I guess whatever I'm wrong looking at the guys history when they debuted it's all on the road. Forgive me for being a fan in the know
  17. I don't think he's made his case to be called up yet. 41% K rate and 1:23 bb:k He is obviously hitting the ball hard with 10XBH out of his 16 total hits. I'd give it a go maybe April 29th when the Brewers begin a 10 game homestand. Would be a boost probably for ticket sales with facing the Rockies, Mets, and Nationals. The next 10 game homestand then begins June 20th. Probably the next occurrence to call him up and most likely past the Super 2 cutoff. There is always my wonder on these things in regard to that if the guy is going to be soooo good, once you have the added control year just play him when they seem ready for a callup. Shouldn't the odds be that you are going to extend the player within a period of time? Once that contract extension happens Arbitration goes out the window and with it the fear of Super 2 raises. You're only lose on the scenario is if the player is hell-bent on going to FA after team control expires and not signing an extension.
  18. I dont feel the 2 early vs division and 3 late is all that abnormal. The 3 to end the season seem to be an annual rite. With maybe sticking 1 non division oppenent in final 4 games. Same can be said with 1 non divisional to the first 3 games. The Home/Away is definitely not the best and the bye week seems incredibly late. Feel like its a tough schedule falling in to Carolina/SF as your outside the 2 division scheduled. Afc west, NFC East.
  19. Reilly what I read on Drew Lock at 30 was the extra year the Packers have. Holding him being a 1st rd pick. With the idea playing off to Farve comparison in age when drafting Rodgers. I dont believe the mock choice, its just one of those history choices like Brewers drafting an OF 1st pick. Im still feeling the draft is all over the place that trading down will happen at 12 or up at 30 depending how it plays out with their draft board. I think an OT is the first choice if Hockensen is gone by 12. Carolina is a team seemingly mocked to trade up to us at 12(probably a history thing choice) us to 16 then. Taking a 4 pick drop with the 1st rd rated OL, I'd expect they have their guys still then. I recall there being an absure trade idea on at least 2 mocks where GB trades 30 for like a 3rd rd pick and that teams 1st rd in 2020 on the idea that the team will be .500 at best so GB would return like a 15th 1st rd next year. Considering how this draft isnt stocked in regards to value, trading down both 1st picks for that kind of scenario could be really good outcome for GB.(suggesting say 12 for 16ish& top60 value, and then 30 for a 2020 higher 1st& top 75 pick.) You'd lose a 1st but gain 2 top 75 and then have 2 1st choices to play with next draft. In that maybe you see the roster and new coach's scheme play out and learn the weakness to draft for with the 2 first picks in 2020. It's going to be a long draft night thats for sure for GB fans. (Unless they use 30 and trade up to a top 6 pick)
  20. Tampa GM of the year. Trades Archer last year for Tyler Glasnow and Austin Meadows. Glasnow 4gms 4-0 1.13 ERA 24IP. Meadows I believe was .350 BA (yep) combined 2.1 BRef WAR currently. This is Max Scherzer in the making Pittsburgh dealt to TB who,ll get 5years years of Ace and a huge trade off better than Archer. Just remember Glasnow's time at Pitts. Was near -2 WAR value when you're fretting this young trio of Brewer Starters. It can be like Yelich's breakout year last year when the switch gets turned and they get it.
  21. This is actually what I said at the end of IGT yesterday. Grandal 3, Moose, then any of Braun/Shaw/Aguilar. Kudos to CC for making and putting the best hitters first.
  22. Has there been word on Peralta? Is this a big concern or something that won't keep him out for long?
  23. I'm not confident in Jeffress, but his AAA results have little bearing on that. I think he's got to get into a big league game, get the juices flowing and we'll see where his velocity is then. He has actually developed into a pitcher, not just a hard thrower, so as important as it is that he works in the mid 90's is, if he's at 92-93 and feeling good, that's all that matters. Though you would have expected him to accidentally get a clean inning in AAA by now. If JJ is throwing in the lower 90's he's going get lit up in the majors. Pitching at the MLB level is not the place to see if you can make a living with diminished velocity. You just ignored what I underlined in italics from poster above you. You're sadly mistaken on pitchers getting lit up in the low 90s. I'd probably venture that includes over half of all pitches in MLB with it's share below 90MPH. Davies for instance is getting it done right now below 90MPH. Putting in games isn't like he's taking a spot of a stud right now at RP. I'd imagine you would be one of those chiming hard to get Kimbrel, simply because the BP needs help. You've gotta give the guy his chance before concluding what you are already predicting.
  24. Just sorta a comment due to the many hate posts on Arcia for his start. He's at or a little above my expectations having 3HRs thus far. Shaw/Aguilar? Those two should be outproducing Moose imo. Clearly neither are. That deserves the hate. I know someone will chime in on Braun, but he's the one past his prime at 35. Shaw/Aguilar at supposed to be at it's peak right now.
