  1. I just can't quit Villar. That 2016 was so good, it has to be in him still. He had a .369 OBP that season. I just don't get why he can't take his walks anymore. But he has the most potential yet and I think he needs to play just about everyday to see if he can start seeing the ball again like he did in 16' and start to hit for the power again he did that year (38 2B, 3 3B and 19 HR). Between 17' and so far this year he seems to swing and miss so much I honestly wondered if he needs contacts/goggles/lasik or something.
  2. Yeah I have been checking out Roster Resource for quite awhile now. It is a great tool, especially for fantasy purposes.
  3. I wondered why we had not seen him on a broadcast. I will miss Nellie's Nugget, RIP Davey. Seemed like a genuine great guy. Heard a lot of stories from people who met him confirming that.
  4. A few days off would be a good thing for Santana. As pointed out, had a super slow start last year and really picked it up. I am betting on that again. Domingo will be fine. All I know is all this depth at OF/1B is really paying off so far with injuries/slow starts.
  5. Super impressive from both guys. Of course Yount was far superior on defense, gold glove caliber at both SS and CF is really incredible.
  6. Having this OF depth plus Thames/Aguilar has been fantastic so far. With the looming return of Yelich, wonder if Braun will continue to get pretty much all starts at 1B vs LHP? Feels like it's been forever since he played there.
  7. Do not remember Molitor ever playing LF or CF. Learned something new today.
  8. Houser, sweet. Totally out of left field. Thought for sure it would be Williams or Hoover.
  9. What an awful game made way worse by that horrific looking Knebel injury. Get Williams and Hoover on a plane to MKE, ASAP. Also, let's hope the Crew shows up fired up ready to go tomorrow night. Really need a W and a well played game after this debacle.
  10. Probably was one of the best, most memorable regular season games I have been at in person. Atmosphere was incredible. Won't forget it, preview of what a playoff game could be like this season.
  11. Had two of the Hebrew National Dogs last night with Stadium Sauce, Mustard and Onions. Delicious, think they're better than the Klements Dogs. My buddy got the Johnsonville Beer Cheese Brat, said it was good. I'll try that at my next game in two weeks. I always liked Klements Brats, but I have always been more of a Johnsonville guy.
  12. Win-Loss Record: 87-75 Playoffs (Yes, No): Yes Highest Playoff Level Achieved: Wild Card All Star Game Representative(s): Christian Yelich, Corey Knebel, Travis Shaw Offensive Player of the Year: Christian Yelich Pitcher of the Year: Zach Davies Most Surprising Player: Jonathan Villar Most Disappointing Player: Eric Thames
  13. Darvish, I wanted him from the moment the offseason started. I knew it would be tough to get him, but thought they had a chance. Ended up they did and made a formal offer, but he chose the Cubs. Now the Brewers have to pound him and the Cubs and make him regret the decision
  14. Season 2 of Brockmire starts April 25th. Pretty pumped for that.
  15. In our league you get to keep two position players and one pitcher. My keepers are Mookie Betts, Joey Votto and Max Scherzer.
  16. Wanted to get some opinions. I pick 7th in my draft, with the pool of players available (due to keepers) I figure these could still be there when I pick and I am targeting them. Who do you like best? George Springer Jose Ramirez Alex Bregman Tommy Pham Brian Dozier Personally, I like Ramirez and Bregman best. Hope one of them is still available. Position flexibility to.
  17. First thing I thought of to. All-Star Closer Knebel: Hey this mound is wet, I ain't pitching on this. Counsell: Okay, no problem Corey. Get me Dillard! Dillard: .....
  18. To me, he was a troll plain and simple. And he proved it with his final posts. He's no Brewer World
  19. My stab at it Catcher (2): Pina, Vogt INF (5): Thames, Villar, Sogard, Arcia, Shaw OF (4): Braun, Cain, Yelich, Santana UT (1): Perez Pitchers (13): Anderson, Davies, Chacin, Woodruff, Miley, Suter, Jeffress, Logan, Barnes, Albers, Drake, Hader, Knebel
  20. When the Brewers win a World Series thanks in part to Santana, Phillips, Hader and Houser they could do a 30 for 30 on how that failed Mets trade that would have been horrific turned into this tremendous trade which helped propel them to a championship.
  21. Williams or Houser, I think Lopez and Peralta will only be starting in AAA. Don't see them calling either up for a pen role.
  22. My thought as well. Having a good deep team of position players is a good problem to have, especially in the NL with PH and Double switches. And of course injuries are bound to happen as well as slumps. Nice to have options.
  23. We need the DH in the NL ASAP. Lineup would be sick.
  24. Put ours the vehicle my wife mostly drives that has our kid seats in it, no issues so far. You can at least see the top of the sticker which shows the color of the current year. Maybe that is good enough. Hope so.
  25. I like the deal, but I am quite sad to see Harrison go. Had they been able to pull this off and not trade him, I would have loved it even more.
