  1. I am sure that Pederson's very ss success against Woody played some small role in the decision. I think it was a bad move, but it's closer than it seems at first blush for me...
  2. I'm not mad at Williams at all. I'm mad at Counsell for removing Woodruff before it was needed. Yes, our offense sucks. Which is why we need to make the right in-game decisions that don't turn 1-0 wins into 2-1 losses. This is a good point. Lamenting that horrible foul ball call too.
  3. Bryant's made two great plays at third. Taken hits away from Urias and Robertson. Let's hope Boxberger makes this easy and allows Hader another day.
  4. With cable (Spectrum) login credentials, you can use the Fox Sports Go app. They are creating a Bally branded app, but it may take some time and is supposed to update automatically on Roku, etc.
  5. 4 games. Outscored 20-11. Yet to score first. Not the start you wanted. Lucky to get the one win. I still think this team is going to be fine long-term, but the schedule is really tough in April and May, I think. Would hate to lose tomorrow and then be looking at Hendricks.
  6. I do think it's going to take guys some time to settle in given just how weird everything has been. Giving it April at least, but it is not at all fun to watch right now.
  7. You worry about an offense when the top of the order sees Andrew Chafin flirtimg with an immaculate inning...
  8. It's one thing when Berrios is dealing...when you're missing meatballs, that might be on you...
  9. They are just hacking. Hacking. Wow. I mean, there is no silcer lining to be had here early. It's horrid PA after horrid PA where nobody even feels like a threat
  10. Anderson really couldn't locate that inning. It's such a fine margin with him anyway, but I imagine it's magnified when you watch the offense put up very little resistance. Opening Day featured a lot of great ABs. Not much in the way of that since.
  11. Good inning from Anderson. I guess, lots of balls in play so far? Boy if Yelich and Hiura don't hit, it's going to be VERY hard to win. So early, of course, but the offense looked alright against Maeda (lack of a big hit notwithstanding) and really bad against everyone else.
  12. I'd love to see Mckinney get a start too and just load up lefties. Go: Wong Shaw Yelich Hiura Bradley Narvaez Urias McKinney P Something like that....
  13. Man, baseball can't win. Great ABs Thursday, and it's pace of play. Excellent, crisp pitching and a quick pace, and it's too many Ks.
  14. Just looking at the schedule, it looks to me like April and May feature the toughest opponents. Of course, it never really works out like that, but I'm looking really for the Crew to tread water out of the gate. Stealing one Thursday helps. Brewers have seen the Twins best relievers 2 of 3 days. Looks like the bullpen advantage will be on the home side. Be nice to score first tomorrow.
  15. I liked McKinney's 2 ABs so far.... Other than that, looks like it isn't our night. Figured we'd lose 2 of 3, so glad to at least have a shot at the series tomorrow.
  16. Both these guys are just rolling. Wow. Feels like a 1-0 game somebody wins on a solo job. Hope it's Hiura.
  17. They are really good. Good lineup, good pitching. Not sold on BP yet, but favored in the Central for a reason. Plus, Maeda owns the Crew. Weirdly, I feel like the Brewers have a good shot at winning the series given the matchups, but they certainly could have asked for an easier opening series.
  18. Well....they put it in play? Maeda doesn't look as dominating as usual so far, so hoping he doesn't settle in 2nd time through.
  19. Middle infield D on display already. Looking forward to watching Wong take hits away from non-Brewers.
  20. I'm thinking the Crew is also going to chart pitches like the one to Sano, where time was called. Right? Imagine they've been doing that for a while.
