  1. Evan Grant says the Rangers are interested in Lucroy only of a pitcher is tied in. Gotta think Stearns has got to be thinking hard on this one.
  2. Cody Bellinger not in Dodgers AA lineup, please oh please come to the Brewers with Holmes or DeLeon
  3. Cody Bellinger not in Dodgers AA lineup, please oh please come to the Brewers with Holmes or DeLeon
  4. I officially hate this trade seeing what other teams are getting back for lesser talent.
  5. Disappointed unless McKenize is the 4th player coming back, very odd that no arms were a part of this deal. What are the chances that Lucroy says no then a mystery team doubles this offer by Monday?
  6. I'm changing my vote to this as well, I have the sickest feeling that he's asking way too much for our guys, 4 top 100 prospects have been moved for meh talent, if we don't get any of that, he overplayed his cards
  7. I'd love to package Lucroy, Guerra and a reliever to Texas for a monster package, I'd discount them on the number of prospects, but in return get 5 quality studs, Gallo/brinson/Ortiz/Mendez/lotto I know it's their top 4 prospects, but it fills every hole they have with studs
  8. If he goes to the Mets, better be getting some good pitching back from Smith/Jeffress/Thornburg to offset.
  9. Now we might hold on to Lucroy....ugh http://www.todaysknuckleball.com/around-the-diamonds/rumors-rumblings-reds-wait-for-better-offers-on-bruce/
  10. +1, my excitement for a major haul has gotten to extreme nervousness seeing Lucroy's no trade list
  11. Didn't care for Clevinger anyways, 25 already. Hopefully Indians make one more big move for a C and RP.
  12. Or is it that there is no one close to meeting his demands
  13. I don't understand what this means? Are they saying that Lucroy is the "significant piece" and teams better pony up, or are they saying that another team has made them a "significant offer" and you better put your best offer on the table right now or else you'll get left out? A team has offered the Brewers a significant return piece and I'm assuming its a "better pony up" notification
  14. MLB Radio just said that Milwaukee is telling teams interested in Lucroy that they have a "significant" piece on the table.....
  15. http://www.baseballamerica.com/majors/ranking-prospects-traded-deadline/#P7BLsMiPbKpbXZSS.97
  16. Sure hope that Lucroy is sitting out the day game after a night game. Haudricourt is saying that talks with multiple teams have ramped up the past 24 hours. Would give them a day and half of striking a deal without having him suit up again.
  17. Brewers have 5 in the updated top 100 in MLB Pipeline http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2016?list=prospects 13 - Arcia 37 - Corey Ray 45 - Hader 76 - Clark 78 - Phillips How many more do you predict will be added by August 2nd? I am guessing 3, 2 from Lucroy Trade, 1 from a Reliever.
  18. I'd guess something like RHP-Ariel Jurado and 1B-Ronald Guzman. I just don't think Jeffress value is all that great. I'd love to be wrong about that. The Brewers have been asking for three players for Jeffress, "the reason they did it", and two more. I wonder if the price tag was 3 for Jeffress and possibly Smith were just in the early stages, but the real reason was to try and package with Braun or a Lucroy to get a greater return. When SF checked in on us a few days ago they said Stearns was trying to package relievers with them. With Stearns saying today that there should be alot of action this week, I'm hoping that's GM speak for some loads of talent coming our way in a few days.
  19. I think if a team comes close, better break out the negotiating gloves to get a deal done. Lucroys value takes a serious hit on Aug 2nd and those close deals would be dream deals in the offseason granted he's still healthy and performing
  20. I agree that McKenzie is a must have in a Indians trade of all their pitchers. Exactly the type of pitcher that Stearns has been targeting. He could be a top 50 pitcher within a year like Martes shot up the ranks.
  21. Looks like Rangers want to move their AAA affiliate to San Antonio when ready, Brewers should bend over backwards to get into Round Rock Or try to get into San Antonio, just get out of Colorado at all costs
  22. Reports that Cubs are sending 4 prospects for just Chapman. That would be great news for the Brewers and their relievers.
  23. Sorry, mean to be in blue, not easy to do on a phone Lucroy, Scooter, Carter and Torres for Sale
  24. Would love it if the Braves got Sale. http://www.mlbdailydish.com/2016/7/23/12264098/braves-chris-sale-trade-rumors-white-sox Have to believe that whatever team trades for Sale, Lucroy would not be an option for them after. That would be a massive hit on the farm system that I don't think any team could take. Lucroy, Scooter, Carter and Torres for Sale, then flip Sale for Texas top 5 prospects(Gallo, Mazara, Ortiz, Tate, Brinson).
  25. Trade Lucroy for Sale, then flip Sale for 5 top prospects before next weekend
