  1. Knee injury to Mahomes sure changes the game next Sunday.
  2. Shepard made a horrible play on it, but that was thrown 5 feet behind him. Rodgers not innocent on that one.
  3. The craziest thing about this team is they might only lose 5? impact players. AJ Taylor Erdman Orr Baun J. Taylor (early) Am I missing a senior that starts? I’m not sure anyone else would be good enough to leave early. Maybe an OL, but the recruits there are crazy good too.
  4. Hornibrook about to tear up Clemson... LOL ... And a pick! Double LOL.
  5. Great stand by the D there not to give up points after the fake punt. Edit - Except for the uncovered guy running the post. Good thing the QB didn’t see him!
  6. This defense is crazy good, and playing a lot of young kids. This start to the year will quickly have Leonard back in head coaching discussions. Only a matter of time, but hopefully hang on to him a few more years.
  7. Literally as I’m reading the taunting discussion, Golden Tate turns around and back pedals into the end zone, lol. I was always under the impression that taking the TD off the board was only a college rule. I remember it getting a lot of press when they changed it in college.
  8. Thought it was odd that you’d take Guerra at the same price over Nelson. I would actually lean the other way. To me Nelson has a chance at a higher ceiling. It’s a gamble for sure, but he had some good flashes down the stretch. Guerra to me is what he is. Decent option if he’s your 6/7th reliever. Brewers as a small market I guess I’m more willing to take a chance on higher upside.
  9. I just saw Oren Burks name in the box score. I was in and out of the house pretty much the whole game, but honestly never noticed him on the field. Anyone have any feedback on how he looked?
  10. Been a long time since I seen an NFL game where OL consistently moved DL literally 4-5 yards. The DT/NG in the NFL are so big, a stalemate is typically a win for an OL. The Colts OL were road grading people. Was an impressive performance.
  11. It’s called swagger. It happens when players are actually good. If it bothers you that much, don’t watch. Tune back in when we are back to a bunch of lifeless stiffs that humblely accept going 1-15. To pass time in the mean time sit outside in a lawn chair and yell at neighborhood children to get off your lawn, because that’s the image I get from your post.
  12. I love that baseball this time of year turns into such a chess game. The Nationals have a horrible bullpen, but we may never see it. I'm guessing they piggyback Scherzer with Corbin or Strasburg. That seems to be the one huge downfall of a 1 game series in this case. Counsel has been piecing games together a few innings at a time for a month now. Our staff should be well prepared for tonight. I think that our best chance to get past the Dodgers was playing them in a 5 game series instead of 7. Hopefully we can pick up a win tonight and then take our chances vs LA in a short series.
  13. I don’t think there is a player in baseball that I dislike more than Molina. Agreed. Hated Alomar (spitting incident) and Bonds more than anyone ever, but Molina is a close 3rd on my dislike list tied with Machado (aka the PUNK). That’s a solid hate list. I have Harper right up there as well, but very similar list.
  14. Hasn’t been hit a ton, but looks like he’s got happy feet. Never looks comfortable in the pocket, even when there isn’t pressure. Not saying it needs to be a permanent change, but we have to be getting close to the point of seeing if Mertz can be a spark. On the other side, this D is playing lights out. That front 7 has some swagger to it.
  15. No idea what I just watched. Throw a Hail Mary or kneel on it. If that 10 yard out route gets picked it’s a pick 6. No upside and a lot of risk. That was plain dumb.
  16. Getting frustrating watching check down after check down followed by a jump ball int. With NW stacking the box you have to be able to complete something down the field. This defense gave up 31 to MSU last week and are stoning us. If Coan is the guy, he’s gotta be able to hit something down the field just to keep defenses honest.
  17. Almora with a ridiculous HR robbery, but then couldn’t get the next one....
  18. Buster Olney just was on ESPN and said the Brewers need to pass the Cards because the Cards own the tie breaker. Don’t they play an extra game ala last year??? Get your crap straight Buster.
  19. Had 5 different e-mails today with people mass e-mailing out trying to sell tickets. I know it’s a Thursday night, but good matchup and good weather. Seemed real odd how many people were trying to get rid of tickets.
  20. Suter has been beyond ridiculous since returning. I remember the days of people arguing if he was good enough to be the 5th starter. The guy comes back from Tommy John and is almost unhitable. Can we have all our healthy pitchers get Tommy John??? Only half kidding...
