  1. Vaughn’s OPS is .740 against RHP this season. 1.009 OPS against LHP. It’s ok to use him as a pinch hitter.
  2. Once a top 50 Brewers prospect, always a top 50 Brewers prospect. I did not see any evidence that he was ever on a top 30 list.
  3. What Counsell did is meaningfully different than Favre/Rodgers.
  4. Followers are not guaranteed to view posts. All posts are curated through an algorithm to determine the reach of who views a post. Paid/premium members receive far greater reach than free members. Links in a post are a death knell for many posts from free accounts. Engagement with a post within the first 30 minutes, especially in the form of comments is best thing that can happen to a post. A typical work around to link throttling is posting your link within the comment section of your link-free main post. All roads lead to being a premium member and keeping users captive to the X platform, never leaving the site. Disclaimer: I am not an expert.
  5. I agree we might not need five lefties in the bullpen. Grant Anderson could be fine, too.
  6. 35 pitches for Rocker. Let’s have a quick inning and get him back on the mound
  7. If we can prolong this inning, we could really see a lot of Ranger bullpen today
  8. Thee Bob Burda? The original # 19. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/burdabo01.shtml
  9. At worst, May is reliable depth. You might be right that Miz, Henderson and Harrison might be our top three starters in the playoffs. There is no guarantee that all three of the young arms remain healthy through September. At best, he is the second most effective starter acquired at the deadline
  10. May’s first two starts with Milwaukee were very good. Third start he was shelled and fourth start he was hit on the back after one pitch. May is capable of being a reliable playoff starter. Less than Skubal but more than perhaps any other starter acquired at the deadline.
  11. Colin Rea is presumably the long reliever for Chicago today. He is a flyball pitcher who has not had much success this season.
  12. PCA with a batting practice fastball and curveball, middle middle.
  13. Eugenio Suarez moving the needle for Cincinnati! Also, I liked Andrew Abbott better when he was good.
  14. Big game today for Gausman and Cubs with Chase Burns looming tomorrow.
  15. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cromulent
  16. Cromulent is subjective. I propose if you are too effective then you are no longer cromulent, you are something more. If you are not consistently good then you are no longer cromulent, either. I would suggest good Colin Rea as being very cromulent.
  17. Can a starting pitcher be more cromulent than Shane Drohan? A 3.33 FIP is beyond cromulent, I suppose. Cal Quantrill’s ERA is shiny but his FIP is 4.02 and he seldom strikes anyone out.
