Cardinals are just +5 on run differential. That seems a lot like a .500 baseball team to me. If Jordan Walker comes back to Earth, I’m not sure they have the rotation or bullpen to make the playoffs.

I think the choice is Frelick or Perkins for final outfield spot. Perkins is unable to hit RHP pitching this season. Plus, I bet Sal is more willing to go to opposite field now that Lara is signed to extension 🙂
