  1. Milwaukee has a .672 winning percentage against teams .500 or better. It’s the bad teams we struggle with 🙂
  2. I don’t think Grant Anderson is our ‘ninth inning guy’ today. I bet they sooner try Megill three days in a row.
  3. Romero could go on rehab assignment this coming week. https://www.fantasypros.com/mlb/news/603631/jojo-romero-appendicitis-could-begin-rehab-assignment-soon.php?amp
  4. This makes sense because Vaughn should not face right handed pitching. 🙂
  5. If you swap out a Cubs hat for a Brewers hat, this is where my mind went to:
  6. I was ready to stick a fork in Megill after April. Since then, he’s allowed pretty much one run per month and zero home runs all season.
  7. Cubs won’t win 67% of their remaining games. So yes, Brewers would win the division with a .500 record the rest of the way. 💪
  8. 3-2 final? Do you take the under? Seems like a trap
  9. One hypothesis is allowing for earlier bedtimes today and tomorrow because the team travels to Pennsylvania on Sunday for a Little League World Series game
  10. Gasser was one out away from an extraordinary pitching line:
  11. Fun fact: Cubs face the Mariners in Seattle this weekend.
  12. Gasser has been reliable at home and better since the all star break. The Brewers remain the best team in baseball.
  13. Since joining Saint Louis: Ragsdale has .679 OPS with 34% strikeouts Frias has .730 OPS An overpay but May is not actually as bad as he was yesterday and Ragsdale and Frias haven’t set the world on fire in their first 12 games. I recognize it is all small sample.
  14. I’m not challenging you to prove this one way or another. I wonder if good teams get better in the second half and bad teams get worse in the second half because good teams add talent and bad teams shed talent and possibly give up fighting after awhile?
  15. 79 wins could be all that is needed to win the AL West 🙂
  16. Sadly, I thought we were rehashing this unfortunate allegation: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/mlb-reportedly-investigating-brewers-bullying-111434494.html
  17. Summary of the game thread, in song form: https://suno.com/s/J818FgZWmuBQG0pu
  18. That’ll play much better in arbitration 🙂
  19. Maybe a qualifying offer. But definitely not a multi year deal. There are just too many examples of aging veterans that significantly regress after big paydays. it can be unsatisfying, but we know Milwaukee operates by replacing veterans with prospects each year
  20. Not every team. Pirates also very stoppable and average five runs per game. Fair point though.
  21. We have one more year of Vaughn and power hitting corner players in the upper minors. I see your point, though.
  22. We are sending four straight batters to the plate with OPS above .800.
