I think the argument was the roller was missing padding, which does seem negligent. If Ruf got injured diving into the stands, he should have been more cautious. He was in normal foul territory, though.

Myers has a place in the bigs. He’d be the next person up. We could try to trade someone but short of that, who do you get rid of or keep in Nashville? Rodriguez could have a place, too. Not going to inflate one appearance against Pittsburgh, though.

Forgot we acquired Chad Patrick from Oakland in exchange for Abraham Toro. Toro is -0.4 WAR for Boston this year. Patrick is 0.7 WAR for Milwaukee.
