Feel free to add photos of Brad Nelson, Scott Linebrink, or even Ken Macha. I’m going with one of the greatest 2.3 WAR seasons a non-closer has ever had for the Brewers (relief pitcher category).

A sneaky series. Nearly every game against Pittsburgh has been close this season.

I’m not sure what Edwin Diaz normally looks like but this was him three seconds before coming back out for the ninth. Seemed like dread or a lack of confidence.

No more days off for anyone for rest of the year. Woodruff on three days rest from here on out.

Monasterio has .768 OPS against LHP this year. .780 OPS against LHP in 2023. He was just wasn’t that good in 2024.

As good of a day as any to rest our left handed batters. All of whom could enter the game later against a RH reliever.

Saw that, Rivera tears Achilles during alumni game. I’d feel bad if Prince tore an ACL during our home run derby.

Off day on Thursday. No more off days for 18 straight days after that. Difficult to balance keeping the momentum we have now versus preserving health for later. Turang has played in 96% of our games this year. He is also 3 for 3 lifetime against Manaea, batting 1.000. Turang played in 155 games last year, too. He had .564 OPS after the all star break in 2024, though.

Someday, Collins and Vaughn probably deserve days off too. Not against a lefty though.

Yelich is 0-6 lifetime against LHP Sean Manaea. Could be a nice day for a rest? Contreras hit HR yesterday but I assume Jansen catches.

Stearns grew up a Mets fan. He probably has his dream job. Counsell 🤷♂️ It is not a sure thing the Brewers achieve similar success this season with Stearns and Counsell.

Murphy said he is purposefully resting Durbin from time to time.

Doval allows 2 R in 0.1 IP and Bednar blows a save (but earns the win) for the Yankees. Rough bullpen. Trent Grisham with 21 HR this year.

Most of the higher profile additions from other teams seem to have not yet made a difference 🤷♂️

Less media and fan pressure in Milwaukee. I assume New York is less patient with underperformance.
