  1. Of course we would...the Bucks MO our entire existence is to take on some retread that's a failure. Can we just bring Terry Porter back? Hell, what about Larry Krystkowiak? Larry Drew? This is NOT a knock on Hornacek because i'm sure he's a very nice man and I enjoyed watching him play way back in the day, but is THIS really what we want? IT'S THE SAME THING WE'VE DEALT WITH UNDER KIDD AND PRUNTY. Paging Marc Lasry and Wes Edens, you're idiots if you make this hire. Fizdale is lauded by guys like D-Wade for his incredible work ethic and managing players. On paper this is the guy we should drag into the office and not let him leave, but I wouldn't mind Monty Williams either. Here's another one since we've discussed Sam Cassell....how about Kevin Garnett? The players likely already know him and if there was ever a guy that demands accountability its that man.
  2. I'll be waiting when June 12 comes around and Braun's line is around .270/.330/.800. In case nobody noticed this team as a whole has started the season out absolutely atrocious and save for heroics several times we'd have a really bad record.
  3. They did. The Celtics without Kyrie, plus they played well against them this year. Still, something rubs me the wrong way about how they mailed it in. I just don't like seeing that in any sport. They should have just played the end of the bench and have them play hard. Still would have lost, but go down with the players on the floor trying hard. It's why I have been watching more and more NHL the past few years...there is zero slacking there and the respect shown to the game far outweighs the NBA and even the NFL. IMO
  4. Way to mail it in boys. I know you didn't want to run the risk of playing Cleveland but really?
  5. Like it or not folks Ryan Braun is retiring a Brewer. Not sure why we keep debating his future with the team to no end. The bed was made years ago, now we get to lay in it for better or worse.
  6. Hopefully the owners are smart enough to realize that they, Horst & Thorn are in no way qualified to make such a pivotal decision so they clean house this offseason & bring in a forward thinking POBO with full autonomy to hire a new GM/coach to hopefully right the ship. They're billionaires, they have to be smart enough to realize this. Are they not the ones that hired Kidd as "their guy" ?
  7. Not even trying Hader as a starter so we can lock down the 6/7/8 innings the next few years is awful use of him and resources in general. It’s much harder and more expensive to fill the rotation than build a bullpen. Even just 160-175 innings of ~4 ERA out of Hader in the rotation is more valuable than whatever he does in his ~60 or so innings out of the bullpen. Plus we already know what he can do out of the pen and we aren’t winning a WS this year, might as well try him as a starter. He can always go back to the pen if he’s a disaster. Let's not get out of hand here. He has 38 appearances and about 50 innings in the majors. As good a he is and has been we don't really know what he will fully be in the pen yet even IMO. Maybe he's the next Eric Gagne for all we know.
  8. Just will not understand why we would want to move an absolutely dominant WEAPON out of high leverage situations. We can't buy pitching as was blatantly shown this offseason, so we will need to lock down the 6/7/8/9 innings for the foreseeable future.
  9. He'd fit right in with that line here.
  10. Oh look, bad footwork leading to an error and man on base. who'd have ever thought it was possible
  11. Lol. Might as well DFA the whole team because they're no better than Braun.
  12. I've had just about enough of the pathetic defense and poor plate discipline. If Counsell and Stearns are too close and things don't see a pretty big improvement this season perhaps it's time to question the future of both of them. What exactly have these players been doing all offseason? They are every bit as bad or even worse than last season. Most of them have been in the big leagues long enough for me to deem them "veterans" too. There should at least be SOMEWHAT of an upward trajectory for their play. If anything the trajectory is going down on nearly all of them.
  13. Quite the contrast watching every Cubs hitter making it tough to get them out. With a brand new hitting coach, because not making it back to the World Series is enough to get the boot. When Coles has atrocious offense the entire second half last year, we hold him blameless, break the bank and sell the farm to change the players. Overly dramatic much?
  14. We are now tied for the 6 seed. If Philly really stays at 3 that could be a gift for us staying away from Lebron until a (hypothetical ECF)
  15. Inexcusable play by veteran players. I'm SICK AND TIRED of this team and their shoddy defense.
  16. So what you're saying is we should lose another one about 8-0 with 3-4 hits again today.
  17. Somehow we're still within 1 game of the 6 seed...not that I want anything to do with Cleveland, i'd rather stay in the 8 slot. Man the east is pathetic.
  18. The sky didn't just start falling. It's just more of the same trends we saw and screamed at last year. Lol
  19. Why worry about who closes now? It's not like we need a closer anyway...
  20. Burn the future stadium to the ground and send the team to Seattle to play in that dump Key Arena...this organization doesn't deserve having what it's got coming.
