So new season, same old 3-5 hit shutouts on a regular basis? I really don't want to be the guy that calls it a season a week in, but come on guys...this is sad.
I keep telling my self it's early in the season yet but yeah, not off to a good start. Chacin in particular looks like an abortion. Hard contact everywhere and no movement at all. Davies I get, he always starts slow. We're up the creek without a paddle if this is all Chacin has got.
As if people aren't already doing that probably multiple times a game (or hour) of the Brewers, or the Cubs, etc. Don't see what the big deal is if you don't get a score 3 times an inning, you hear it at the commercial break.
What a garbage signing. This is like Ted Thompson signing a 4th string OL who's had 2 knees and a back injury who started about 8 games 3 years prior and proclaiming himself a genius.
So because he was good at his job at one time he should be given slack because he's bad now? I guess we might as well bring back Lohse and Wolf to round out our rotation. I get to hear him about once a month living in Minnesota now and he's plenty enjoyable to me. I don't like it when he's not on the broadcast. Provus is good as we know for the Twins but there are some total hacks calling games out there...enjoy the last couple years of Ueck while we can because he's like no other.
I think he's trying to hold out for the day he (rightfully) gets to finally see the Brewers back in the World Series. Needs to happen in the next year or two though......
Oh come on folks, don't act like you haven't absolutely whiffed on something obvious. If he's doing it on a daily basis then yeah the "yikes" is warranted, but the guy has about 50 years worth of calls. Cut the poor man a little slack.
Braun looked pretty darn good at 1B to me. Compared to how everyone was fretting and the media making it a huge deal he looked like eric hosmer out there. (Yes, im fully aware he will probably have a huge blunder soon, but Domingo already had a brain fart so we're sitting pretty at first)
Really though Jordan averages more points than Parker does....Jabari is really overrated at this point of his career. Sign Jordan and move Henson to backup and we'd be MUCH better off in my opinion. This team needs rebounding and an inside presence so bad. As i've said previously, this time with Jabari back is no different than any of the other times....the team's performance goes in the tank. I see no reason whatsoever to give Parker a dime, but knowing this organization they'll give him a max deal.
Or maybe getting Beckham out of NYC and into a small town atmosphere creates a career renaissance of sorts, and he settles down with age to focus on getting into the HOF. I think i'd rather want Peterson, but I sure won't complain if either of them show up in town.
