  1. LMAO what a joke.
  2. gonna LMAO when we take some guy nobody thinks should go before pick 30.
  3. Can we just lock this thread up already?
  4. You're underestimating the upgrade we made finally getting Dom Capers out of town. And I've done my fair share of bashing this organization lately, that's far from a blinders on statement.
  5. Are you referring to MOAR Hernan Perez OF starts?
  6. Uglier Second Uglier Third unless your name is Shabazz Muhammed. How Giannis has 11/7/6 i'll never know, feels like he's done absolutely nothing with that rook guarding him.
  7. Feel like this is how Yelich started too. "No big deal, ready to go" turned into weeks.
  8. I'm going to be in the minority here on one of them, but there's (2) guys I want to come away with in the first round that are realistic in our range. Courtland Sutton or Minkah. Sutton in particular just screams future beast to me, and with the cost of WR's in free agency I think the possible reward is far greater with Sutton than it would be taking a DB. I don't put much stock in Jimmy Graham being here for the long haul, he's got a year or two maybe of good play before he really drops off IMO so by then Sutton would be in theory ready to take over.
  9. I'm glad they saw the light and went with "blackout" rather than a "greenout" or something. The logo looks fantastic over black and I even bought a shirt yesterday...something I rarely do. Hopefully they continue to embrace black as an alternate.
  10. This is the GOOD side of bipolar. If and when they show up like that they are a total treat to watch. Please let them have turned a corner of sorts.
  11. What could go wrong throwing 85mph lefties out there every 5th day?
  12. It's spring training. Who cares about their numbers. In the case of Thames, if I was GM, I would. I don't think he has enough of a book to just assume what his production level is going to be. I would like to know how much, if any, of last April I could expect this year. If you assume you are going to get May-August Thames, with his defense, I don't think he has any positive value over his contract. His September was very good, but I believe he was also more platooned. And that is the way I would look at him - the heavy side of the platoon that I would match up with a righty bat that had more defense that I could also sub in at the end of games. Thames 2017 : .247 / .359 / .518 / .877, 1.40WAR / (11 HR April) Thames 2018 : .245 / .333 / .679 / 1.012, 0.6WAR / 7 HR Spring training doesn't matter.
  13. The Celtics did not "luck out." They've made a series of smart moves. As for the Sixers, true, the Bucks couldn't afford to tank for several years. But they could have for at least one. And one more stud to go with Giannis would be a huge difference right now. Finally, you say they "clearly have the talent." Where? I mean yea, they have enough talent to be what they are- a playoff team in the East. But let's not pretend they're loaded with talent. I'm more inclined to agree with the Bucks having a fair bit of talent on roster. Development of the talent has been PATHETIC however. Bledsoe is a good guard when functional, Giannis is elite, Parker *should* be very good if not for injury/laziness. Middleton is a good player. Snell *should* be a decent shooter, but how can you expect him to shoot when all we do is run ISO for Giannis and Mids every time down the court? Dellavadova is a serviceable backup PG. Henson is a serviceable big (NOT a starter). Brown looks like there might be something there. Thon is ripe with potential if developed. Brogdon is a good player. It's not like the cupboard is bare...it's not being developed. It makes me question how much Giannis we are missing out on by not having good coaching...is he Lebron or better if he had a guy like Pop coaching and riding his butt?
  14. He's probably getting rocked because he sat out so long. It's taking him longer to get into "game shape." Now the next thing that will happen (lol) is he'll get an injury like football players who show up late do.
  15. Half the year is baseball. Teams play around snow/rain in the spring and pray that we don't get snowed out in October. Sorry for the so-called purists out there but there IS too many baseball games. It's too late to go back now though i'd assume with near certainty.
  16. I believe it. There is clearly something in that locker room that is total cancer. Bledsoe was not here the previous times the Bucks have played well (sans Parker being around), so it most likely is not him. Every time Jabari is hurt this team plays MUCH better than it does when he is active. Jabari will be out of the league in a few years if something doesn't change soon. On another note, every time I watch Derrick Rose it makes me sad knowing what he once was...he literally has nothing left in his body and it shows in how he plays. It's good that we didn't sign him, but that makes me ONCE AGAIN question the ability of this organization to make solid basketball decisions. I mean this is obvious to see, doesn't take a rocket scientist at this point...I recall us being very close to signing him last offseason......
  17. "Matchups" i'm sure. Or just punting the game since Davies has been so terrible to start the year.
  18. Perhaps Bledsoe should focus on not being completely useless on the court instead of making an ass out of himself. That would be a great place to start after Parker playing defense. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23224205/milwaukee-bucks-point-guard-eric-bledsoe-dismisses-boston-celtics-terry-rozier
  19. Questioning whether an electric pitcher may be able to take on a more valuable role is not the same. Yes, I realize that relievers have more value than they used to, but starting pitching is still infinitely more valuable. When you have 4 starting pitchers out of 5 that can't make it past 5 innings the bullpen tends to be more valuable than the starting pitching, not the other way around. An inversion really. I prefer having Andrew Miller in the bullpen than an Andrew Miller that was throwing a Zach Davies ERA when they tried starting him.
  20. As Josh Hader rings up another 2 inning save, I am reminded of the phrase... "Why are we wasting Hader in the pen?"
  21. Another night another poor performance. Hope something changes in the 4th quarter because I have zero interest in watching a charade leading up to Warriors vs Cavaliers basketball.
  22. No offensive goals/scheme aside from ISO mids and giannis, and allow guys to get their own boards with 4 bucks in the lane. These guys need a kick in the rear end Bobby Knight or Bob Huggins style.
  23. I don't buy at all that Dez is done. When he had an actual (accurate pocket passing) QB running the show he was among the best. Between Dak's accuracy and the 'Boys riding Zeke there isn't much to go around. I wouldn't pay 15 million or something to bring him here but i'm absolutely interested in him coming to GB.
  24. First up out of the dugout to hit... 1 pitch and pop out. For the love of god do these guys ever take a couple pitches? Maybe i've just watched Joe Mauer auto take the 1st pitch for too many years.
  25. Womp womp...that'll earn Drake another 6 months on roster.
