  1. Another day, another hideous performance. And no, after giving up 50 freakin points in the first quarter they get no credit from me for coming back. Inexcusable behavior. Something is going on behind the scenes...one has to wonder if Kidd has lost them. It's that bad.
  2. This team is a trashfire...want to love em but maybe it'd be better to just contract the franchise from the league lol.
  3. Was hoping the day wouldn't come. What a diamond in the rough Shields was...one of Ted's best "picks".
  4. And this is why Aaron Rodgers is the MVP, not Matt Ryan, because the only time you would ever see Rodgers snap the ball with that much time left is if he was trying to catch the defense with 12 men on the field. Rodgers is a master of letting the clock run down, trying to read the defense and their scheme, and audibling out of a play if he sees something he doesn't like. If Rodgers had Freeman and Coleman instead of a converted WR and a waiver claim he would be setting records. Tom Brady is the MVP. I don't think there's any debate about it until he hangs up the cleats...dude didn't even have Gronkowski or a legitimate WR and still dominates. Rodgers is a fairly close but unquestioned 2nd in line.
  5. I rarely get to see games on TV, but I caught the Denver one the other night. Holy cow what an abomination on defense. Is the scheme to just stand in the lane and run at any player on the perimeter / jump for a block? Parker out there smiling away as he jacks a 3 and then doesn't get back (or crash the boards) and allows a fast break dunk also stands out to me. They look to me to be on cruise control. They've been told there's a pretty stadium coming, that they're going to be good for how long now, and they know it too. We need a vet who will kick them in the *** and tell them coasting isn't acceptable. Roy Hibbert ain't gonna be that guy either lol.
  6. LOL wow, as pathetic as Hammond is in free agency he is equally as baffling at pulling these trades off.
  7. Yes. Yes. Yes to all of it.
  8. Yay. Nobody being held accountable again for another 45+ point allowed playoff defeat. Where are all the fraud "Proud Packer Shareholders" that wave their toilet paper er I mean stock certificates demanding change? Ok, that might be a bit extreme, but I find it largely unacceptable that it is business as usual again at 1265 Lombardi Ave with nobody being questioned about anything. Vince would not have stood for his defenses giving up 45+ in playoff games. Yes, I know we were in the NFC Championship game again, and we are spoiled with success. What I watched the other day though was not excellence, it was something pathetic. And it has happened numerous times.
  9. Long ways to go and alot of bad teams ahead of them. If Mids comes back pretty soon and we try to add a defensive presence down low I don't see a reason to throw the towel in on this season yet. No we won't win any titles but it would be great to get in the dance and get some experience for the guys.
  10. RE Fat Eddie, I think it's time to move on from this "beast." It's time to move on from Starks too. If we're going to be a pass heavy offense then we need to acquire the personnel to maximize it. A Darren Sproles, Jamaal Charles, CJ Prosise type of player, not a 250 lb Jerome Bettis who can't stay on the field and a 30 year old injury prone backup who's mediocre at pass catching.
  11. If you feel that is the case, then we need to take it to DEFCON 5 and fire TT, MM, and Capers and clean the house. Damarious Randall was a 1st round pick. Quentin Rollins was a 2nd round pick. Kenny Clark is a 1st round pick. Nick Perry is a 1st round pick. Jake Ryan and Martinez are 3rd or 4th round picks. Peppers and Matthews are HOF caliber players regardless of age. Either Ted is a horrible drafter and gets credit where it isn't deserved, or it's the guy teaching the players. Is it Dom Capers or is it Ted Thompson that is the problem....or is it both? I don't fully buy the whole "they have nothing" business, the Falcons defense is regarded as middling at it's best, and poor/bad at its worst. They got pressure on Rodgers today. We had 0 sacks, 0 turnovers, 1 punt forced (!!!!!!!!). Did we even get more than one or two pressures? At some point if what you're doing is allowing a TD on each possession should you decide to bring the house and deal with it if you get burned? Or something different?!?!?!? At 24-0 what is there to lose? And that's not even including the countless fundamental miscues that players on both sides of the ball were committing. Ryan is a turnover prone QB. If nobody is fired (which I doubt there will be any), there is something that needs to be done regardless...Peppers and Matthews need to be released before their Yuge salaries consume any more of our salary cap. I love the guys but their bodies are used up, we can't afford to let them plug the holes any longer with poor play. I'm happy to beat heck that we ran off 8 games in a row and got to where we did. But at the same time the same old issues that have plagued us aside from 2010 surfaced again and helped contribute to another missed opportunity. We can't win em all but Rodgers is on the back half of his career now...we can't be squandering anymore of these chances when they present themselves.
  12. You are going to blame Don Capers when the players don't even run the defensive plays right? Hardly are they ever doing what they are suppose to do and constantly make the mistakes. They had a free interception and I am not even sure the defender got his hands on it. His personal is straight garbage. They flat out aren't starting NFL players in the secondary and they are trying to cover the most explosive offense in football. Blame Capers? Yah no thanks. Give him some real players the. one can judge. I'm sure it wasn't his fault when kapernick set nfl records in a similar fashion too? Thehre playing on their heels allowing everything in front of them. This is going to end up worse than kapernicks game from a statistical standpoint. It's embarrassing.
  13. There's the Dom Capers defense we all know and love! And to think some actually thought it was fixed....what a joke this is.
  14. I'd understand if we actually USED Plumlee...or at least tried to use him after signing that deal. At least make it look like we saw potential in him. But all that money to play 5 minutes a game? Talk about money burning a hole in pockets...what a waste. Scares me if that's how we're going to spend money over the longer term.
  15. Christine Michael needs MOAR carries. Think we may have found our future RB, buhbye fat Eddie. The whole Ty Mont as a RB is cute and all, and it does have it's place, but when it's time to pound the rock Michael needs to be getting the ball and not Ty. May/should be moot anyway with Jordy hurt though, we'll need him out at WR more.
  16. Bucks desperately need to find a way to shed the contract of either Henson or Plumlee, preferably Henson. I can't deal with watching Henson play anymore. That guy is so damn soft. Game after game he gets bullied away from defensive rebounds. Plumlee sucks also, but for now at least, i'd like to see him get Henson's minutes. Plumlee has zero skills on offense besides dunking, but he isn't soft as hell and will fight for rebounds instead of getting pushed around like that toothpick Henson does. Brook Lopez is even softer than Henson. Please for the love of God don't trade for him. We need a Biyombo / Joakim Noah / prime Dwight Howard type of player controlling the interior right now, not another softie who wants to shoot jumpers and not rebound. How Lopez is 7' and gets like 3 boards a game is baffling.
  17. All it will take is a bad playoff performance and they'll be out in full force. That's their favorite time to come out of the woodworks. Most of them only ask for a respectable performance in a losing effort. Not an embarassing record setting performance by X player as we give up 35+ in another playoff game. Myself, I'm elated at the past 6 weeks after what we saw before it, but the two boogeymen that have plagued us for many years are aligning this weekend.. Eli Manning and Dom Capers defense in big spot situations. NY has no business winning Sunday but until/unless they are dispatched it's going to be a pretty tense time for us fans. They're probably the worst draw in the whole NFC in my opinion for us.
  18. Malcolm Brogdon tho....
  19. Adopt the Wild. Never even played hockey growing up but it's a close second to the NFL these days for me. No nonsense, hard working, and politics are kept out of it.
  20. Bleh. He was hideous in Minnesota last year (saw plenty). Hopefully it works out but my expectations are next to nil with this one.
  21. Parker is coming around, people forget that he and Giannis are only 21. The team is playing better than expectations and has an outside chance of a top 4 seed in the east. Giannis is pretty much an all star lock, i agree Brogden will be in the rookie game. My only complaint is still what i said on draft day, bucks should have drafted Sabonis over Maker. No sir. Sabonis looks like a Ryan Anderson upside type of guy. Maker has much higher risk but if he becomes something we'll be top 1-2 in the East for years (down the road).
  22. This guy was the one...and we never even gave him a shot, just buried him in the dregs of the organization. What a shame.
  23. You can probably come to the conclusion yourself if you think about it. Hint: $$$ That or because Penn State lost to Pittsburg and got destroyed by Michigan. The commiteee isn't going to put in a team that got destroyed by another one of the playoff teams. Same problem with Wisconsin. They lost against three of the other Top 5 or so playoff hopeful teams. That is problematic and Wisconsin just wasn't a dominating team all year Had we beaten Penn St I think we would have merited a spot assuming ahead of Washington (or a Clemson loss). Washington is a fraud, I don't put alot of stock in conferences that are allergic to defense (goes for the B12 too). In my opinion Penn St belongs in that playoff, be it at the expense of OSU who they beat head to head or Washington.
