  1. Yeah I’d welcome Fedde back next year in a mop up/long inning low leverage role. I’m done with Payamps.
  2. Soriano is weird. If you look at his game log he either gives up a TON or runs or goes 6-8 excellent innings. Not much in between.
  3. Not sure if this was mentioned in the thread, but did anyone else see Contreras firing the ball back at Freddy any time he made a couple of bad pitches in a row?
  4. I'd be shocked if he came up this year. Would be cool if they gave him the backup job next year though and let Contreras DH 40-50 games.
  5. Ortiz is so much better defensively I think they are going to keep him in there. Mona made some nice plays while he was out but you could tell the defense just didn't operate like they wanted it to. I like Durbin, but I wouldn't mind giving some of his starts to Monasterio.
  6. The Mariners are 29-23 since the break. That's good! Meanwhile, the Brewers are 34-18 since the break, which is the best record in the MLB.
  7. Eh, it shouldn’t but it kind of does. If Skenes maintains his numbers and Peralta gets down to a 2.30 ERA and wins 19 games, I could see a lot of votes start to swing his way.
  8. I say yes. We'll know more after this weekend in Pittsburgh though. Cubs have the Nats at home, and the Pirates are hot. series wins over St. Louis, Toronto, Boston, and a sweep of the Dodgers since they left Milwaukee.
  9. If they use it as an opportunity to see if Gasser can be a playoff piece then worse things have happened.
  10. Would rather have him at 9 so maybe he gets on for the 2-3 other guys who are hitting right now. but yeah, I’m about done with Blake Perkins plate appearances.
  11. Not sure, but Peralta averages 5.5 innings per start this year. Logan Webb leads the majors in innings and averages 6.2. So the pitcher with the most innings in the MLB this year gets 2 outs per game more than Freddy. Complete non-issue.
  12. For all the ******** about Peralta, he’s finished 5+ innings in all but 2 starts this year.
  13. Agree until your last sentence. Would love to see him in more high leverage spots and we're trending that way. But we have tons of starting pitching options and I think Ashby is better suited as a reliever.
  14. Turang and Ortiz are hurt. Chourio is hurt. Vaughn hasn't had an off day since he came to Milwaukee. What would you like?
  15. We have scored the second most runs in the MLB, man. This **** happens when you're missing four starters.

  17. Agreed, and lockridge is hitting .280 with a .722 OPS as a brewer. Might as well give him some games until that changes.
  18. Not to mention he’s just a legitimately great dude. Excited to cheer him tomorrow.
