  1. 1/1. Up to a .0001 percent chance
  2. And even Ortiz is slashing .263/.311./424 since June 6th
  3. He threw a 1-2-3 inning Saturday. I’m sure you’ll see him tomorrow.
  4. 9-3 after tonight. 0-2 vs Miami, 9-1 vs everyone else. FYI if you use the ballpark app for your tickets you can go to “check ins” and see your games and your record.
  5. I think Levering is a good radio guy and he's always called big moments really well. He struggles on TV a bit, but that's him being forced into a role he wasn't hired for. The radio team is infinitely better with Levering and Grindle than Grindle and Maurer
  6. Actually feel pretty good about Myers today. Think he’s turned the corner. Not sure about how many innings he can eat, but I think he’ll pitch well.
  7. Gotta try to get Siegler going at some point. His peripherals are good. If the production catches up you have another weapon, and they have about 50 days to figure it out.
  8. Enormous difference between a small trade to help the bullpen and trading away your all star closer.
  9. The only way I can make it make sense is if they are going to start experimenting with Lockridge at 2B and Turang at SS.
  10. I think the real Durbin is the full year numbers, and I lean towards slightly better than that since he was a bit overwhelmed at the start. I think he's not quite the .790 OPS guy he's shown since June, but I do think he'll consistently be .750. And I'm happy with a guy who can OPS at that rate with six years of control, especially if the long term plan is to move Turang to SS and Durbin to 2B.
  11. He's a good outfielder and a good baserunner. But we aren't short on those things, so I don't get it. And his hitting numbers are terrible.
  12. Do you think other teams don't have holes? Have you seen the Cubs bullpen? Phillies have the same issue.
  13. We all have hunger to get to a world series. You just live in a reality that isn't in touch with actual reality.
  14. As opposed to the Padres who do this every year and have won.....0 world series.
  15. The Padres got significantly better. I don't agree that those other teams did.
  16. who cares how the fans feel? Maybe the players trust the group they have. They have the best record in baseball and a rotation built for playoff success. I'd welcome an upgrade at SS or a better utility infielder, but if they choose to stand pat I'm all for that too and think they can win a world series.
  17. I agree, but he's got the second best OBP on the team behind Collins. So I get the reasoning.
  18. I assume that's the plan, yeah. Would be a real nice win if they get it while resting a couple of key guys and not overworking the pen.
  19. I don't know why people keep assuming this. The Brewers medical team is smart and they manage injuries conservatively. If he's playing, he probably needs surgery. Which means he has to wait until after the year. So he's playing through it.
