    Yah waiting so long to give someone the boot doesn't make sense. You are trying to tell me someone is chilling at the ballpark right now and at some point just hours before the game is going to get the boot? No way. There is no need to be secretive about giving Oliver Drake(example) the boot if you know that is what you are going to do. There is something going on. Either the person is already gone or they are aware they won't be around if mystery player isn't traded in time. If they are traded though they probably survive until tomorrow.

    If they can't complete the mystery deal Brett Phillips(or someone else) could just be optioned for the time being. I doubt a simple move like that would be what is actually going on deep down if it happens.

    I think it is safe to assume no OFer is currently injured and Brinson is not coming as an injury replacement. We would know that type of info already if it was the case.

    Lewis Brinson is floating in some imaginary land. Not in Colorado and not apart of the Brewers roster.

    If I had to guess. Phillips in a deal for Wilson/Kinsler. Though we were getting consistent rumors with connection to Detroit. Now suddenly when things are supposably ramping up for some type of deal we get nothing? Hmmm

    I'd be pretty confident in saying there is now way the Brewers are trading Domingo Santana. That would be big addition by big subtraction...terrible idea. Can't lose that big of an offensive force.

    Maybe not technically but he was pulled from that game last night for a reason. It has been widely reported that he was not hurt, was not traded, and was recalled. No need to pull him if he wasn't hurt. No need to recall him if he is being traded. Only reason to recall him is to replace someone. Tie all that together with Stearns being coy about what is going on my guess is either Braun or Phillips is on their way out. Dancing around no trade clauses and the intricacies of a Braun trade would account for the time this is taking. Not sure I believe it but it could be. Maybe he just hasn't been traded yet? No reporter has even the slightest of what is going on so how do we even know Brinson isn't being talked about? Once again I doubt he is, but let's not just shut the possibility out the door.

    LEWIS BRINSON HAS NOT BEEN CALLED UP. Let's get that straight. So we cannot just assume he is being called up to replace someone when no one actually has an idea what is going on. I don't think Brinson is in trade talks, but he isn't called up yet either.

    Bit surprised too since the Brinson circus started over 12 hours ago. If Brinson or any of our three OFers are involved in a trade it is pretty major trade. Not another Swarzak.

    Haha one can dream. Haudricourt is terrible for any trade/rumor. He is too nice to the Brewers to not break anything.

    Supposably the price on Darvish is high since Texas can get draft pick compensation. Phillips could probably headline a deal, but this forum would freak out giving that up for a rental when we aren't playing well. I wouldn't be a fan either unless there is an extension announcement at the same time.

    Huh? The poster who keeps threatening to leave because Stearns sucks, we aren't making big moves., etc etc etc. Though I guess he gets what he wants then so maybe he will be more even tempered.

    The saddest part is the fact this upcoming move means that guy won't leave come Packers training camp.

    Based on this, now I'm fearing that Brinson is involved in a trade. If a trade went down late last night involving Phillips, I would think you'd let Brinson finish the game (it's more likely that you'd let him play out a few innings rather than pull him out immediately in my opinion). You would FOR SURE pull him immediately if he were involved in a trade, however. Couple that with Stearns not confirming Brinson was recalled has me leaning towards a Brinson trade now. I thought the exact thing, but I am guessing Brinson was pulled to get him to Washington ASAP. We are competing and want Brinson ready if we trade someone else. If it is Brinson I'd be pretty excited at who we are getting. They wouldn't trade Brinson for Quintana. FWIW: Yu Darvish looks to be traded before next start and we are not on his no trade list.

    Most simple possibility I could see is he is replacing a pitcher because Davies went deep and we had the Monday off day. Then he can play against the lefties and Phillips can replace Braun when he has a few off days coming up. I just don't see the Phillips/Brinson swap. That would have been already planned out and he would have never been in the starting line up. Then we don't need to stick him on a plane to fly across the country late at night.

    I disagree. If that was going to be the case Lewis Brinson would never have started...at least it would be very unusual for him to even start in that kind of situation.

    Ryan Braun lie? Never. Ha got me there. Hope it is a Braun injury now. That would be good stuff. On another note Sky Sox play at 12:30 PM so we would k ow then if Brinson has truly left the Sky Sox. Last I checked it was just a rumor he was being called up. Never know that could have been false info.
