Yah kinda had everything bad tonight. Some questionable approaches to pitching, some bad fielding, poor approaches at the plate, tough luck at the plate. Aside from that one through the wickets on Abrams, nats played well tonight too.
I think you pretty much covered it in the first 9 words. Playing well, health and the right breaks are all any playoff team needs. You don’t need to be favored, you just need to win.
My parents have a couple of dogs, one of which is an utter basket case about storms. If he hears the EAS squawk, he knows what it’s about and loses his mind for the next hour or so. Even if you’re quick draw on the mute button, if he sees the black screen with white letters he goes nuts. Because of this I know they are really sick and tired of the excessive alerts.
I was a bit disappointed that the broadcast didn’t show the crowd’s welcome for CC at the beginning. You could hear it a little in the background during the pregame.
All the loud cheering on the Wisdom can o corn. Guessing it was Brewer fans knowing it was an out, combined with cub fans who see a hr in every routine fly.
It’s on MLB and it’s glorious. Last inning they even showed dejected fans and pouting kids in their wrigleyville merch their parents forced them to wear. Poor kids.
