  1. I'm certainly not going to count on the cards for any help. Best bet is for Milwaukee to go on a tear right away here and get ahead of SDP before they know what hit them, then get them pressing. That would be fun...

  3. Darn that was their chance to get back in it
  4. So if you're going to try to get into this game, points on this drive would be the first step.
  5. Glad I watched this was a good one. Switched mlbtv audio to wtmj so it was nice to have a win and a couple home run calls with Ueck today.
  6. What the heck, I'm a glutton for punishment. Might as well watch Houser vs Anderson after that Badger game.
  7. Cool. I don't. I just hope they play well in the conference, keep the axe, etc. I was looking forward to this game though. WSU is so notorious for epic collapses I was kind of hoping to be behind late and have the cougs do something hilarious to gift us the game. No such luck today though.
  8. Over? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Seriously though, what's over? Wisconsin's chances at a national championship?
  9. Or Gard or LaFleur I'm sure someone will want them fired this year too.
  10. Well the ball has gotten slippery maybe WSU will Coug it up to us.
  11. I know. I just meant he shanked it so bad it was a complete knuckleball. The trajectory was ridiculous.
  12. It stunk, but that was one of the coolest looking bad kicks I've ever seen.
  13. Didn't watch last week but Mertz certainly played well this first half.
  14. The one that comes to mind is when Garner wanted to fight the White Sox TV guys Hawk Harrelson and Paciorek.
  15. Wow that is the best choreographed and rehearsed relief pitcher entrance I've ever seen.
  16. If $100 is all it takes, I think it would be well worth that to get some kind of a Whoa Solvdd reference up on the scoreboard.
  17. I decided not to watch tonight, took care of some other things instead. Just read the IGT instead. Wow. And it’s still smoldering. loved the 3-0 Mitchell era post. Spot on. Craigtember is just around the corner. Let’s go!
  18. He's had a really nice week too. If he could stay hot that would be wonderful.
  19. All I seem to recall about Schildt getting fired was "philosophical differences" is there some dirt/baggage I missed?
  20. And Padres are down late to KC. Hader continues to struggle.
  21. I still hope he pitches for Milwaukee this season. No idea if that's realistic or not, I guess we'll see how he comes off that setback he had the other night. He's got arm talent and is going to want to show it heading to free agency.
  22. Anything can happen. It's not even Craigtember yet.
  23. Reyes busting him in with 77mph was sort of amusing. I can certainly understand why many back in WI might not have stuck around to see it.
  24. I follow the ST box scores because they're baseball box scores and I enjoy baseball box scores. Other than that, I mainly want to know these 3 things, as they tend to be the bellwethers of the team's success for the upcoming season: 1) Which players are in the best shape of their lives? 2) Which pitchers developed a new pitch they're excited about using against real live hitters? 3) Who has corrected a vision problem during the offseason and is ready to hit like Molitor now? Joking aside, I do enjoy the intriguing player background stories that sometimes pop up during ST.
