  1. I wanted to see Patrick for another.
  2. As is the home plate ump apparently.
  3. I guess we shall see. I give up on trying to guess it.
  4. This is the AB that concerns me. Cmon Miz!
  5. I'm surprised he managed to call that a strike
  6. HELL YEAH!!!!! I had a really good feeling about Vaughn
  7. I felt good about Ashby opening. I was wrong.
  8. Why does Turner have both channels and hasn't switched either one to the Brewers???
  9. I stand corrected, the tag whiffed!
  10. I think he's out at 2nd.
  11. Indeed! I'm pleased to be able to watch live.
  12. re: the extra innings rules. I realize I'm in the minority, but I wish they'd have just left it alone. Yeah sometimes extra innings games go long. Oh well, the way she goes, boys.
  13. Hell yes. That's some kind of a response Brew Crew! Foot on their throats, push down!
  14. Anyone else’s mlb.tv prompting them to “upgrade” today? I already bought the year those bastards.
  15. Those success rates track with what I read on MLB's data on it from spring training too. But what I was specifically thinking out loud about was overall challenges, regardless of success. I agree with your thoughts about catchers adding value by challenges and success rate. Inside/outside any catcher ought to have a good grasp on. A keen eye and understanding of the top/bottom of the zone as it pertains to the size of each batter could be where some guys really shine. It'll be interesting.
  16. It will be interesting to see how the percentages play out for amount of challengers (batter vs pitcher vs catcher) as it would seem to me that the pitcher and catcher should generally be the ones with the highest confidence that the call was incorrect. The catcher should definitely know.
  17. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but his original placement on the IL was retroactive to 8/4, so his first day eligible to play for the MLB club would be 10/3. Now, would the Brewers be so bold as to include on a playoff roster a rookie who hasn't played in a game since August 3rd? Anything could happen, though I am a tad skeptical.
  18. Well yes, I'd consider throwing bullpen sessions better news than...not being able to throw a bullpen. Fingers crossed it goes well, especially for Megill.
  19. Yeah after the Brewers were checking in on Justin Turner and he signed with LAD for 2/$32 mil in '21, Buehler put out some tweet laughing at the idea of him signing with Milwaukee. Brewers went on to get similar production at 3B over those 2 years from Luis Urias, Jace Peterson and Mike Brosseau for about $27 million less dollars.
  20. Agreed FTC. College football, for much of my life, was my number 1 sport. Brewers were 2nd then Packers. Brewers became number 1 I think ‘16 o’17. But college for me dropped to the point of hardly care once NIL. Hoops is a little better we keep more guys around. But it’s not for everyone. I know Dad dropped his season tickets- going back to about 5 years in the Field House- the moment Hepburn transferred. That was it.
  21. Don Morton was exactly what I thought about. I was a 3rd grader when McClain passed on the treadmill. Aunt Peggy was a long time season ticket holder, I think she graduated UW circa 1943. We went to games and aside from the freezing cold ass kicking Michigan State gave us…what was it, 88? I don’t know- we stayed until the end. Always. But no way I’d go sit through this crap now. No way. I’ll make a point of watching the Minnesota game this year. The rest, whatever.
  22. That's often my only fear when I watch Uribe pitch. He's pretty defenseless when he falls towards first and even gets his back turned sometimes. I worry one day he's going to get one smoked right up his backside.
  23. I hope you've watched Jeremiah Johnson since then. If not, do yourself a favor...
