Aye. In 30 years UW has basically had 3 or 4 years without an All-American caliber RB. The PJ Hill years, '15 when Ogunbawale led the attack (and heck even he cashed a few years worth of NFL paychecks) and last year. Moss-Fletcher-(McCullough)-Dayne-Bennett-Davis-Calhoun-(Hill)-Clay-Ball-White-Gordon-(OG)-Clement-Taylor-(Berger)-Allen. There was some ESPN article I think in the preseason about which football programs owned particular position groups in the last 20 years. UW was #2 in both RBs and OL--2nd to Alabama in both cases. I think UW was top 10 in LBs as well. Also Aaron Stecker was with the Badgers for a couple years before he transferred, being blocked by Dayne, and he went on to have a pretty decent career in the NFL.
