  1. Lexington Kentucky, to be precise. His first 7.2 innings in independent league have not been particularly good.
  2. On Thursday/Friday I did a 30 hour fast. Basically because I had a work lunch on Thursday where I ended up having a little more than I should have and wasn't hungry for supper Thursday night. Friday fast was planned already. Wasn't much harder than a 24 hour, so basically it wasn't hard at all. Broke the fast with steak dinner last night, all I could manage was the salad, 3/4 of the potato and half the 1 lb Tbone. Fast had a 4 lb weight swing even though I drank a lot of water, coffee and tea. I was feeling pretty fat and bloated on Thursday though, so the 4 lbs swing was no surprise.
  3. I think that would get it done, but I think it would be completely insane on our part.
  4. Yah, Hand was readily available in the offseason, and he has not been anything special this year. He's the kind of guy I wish a team I hated had given up a good prospect for.
  5. Nicely done, Eye Black http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?p=1355365#p1355365
  6. I still enjoy a root beer barrel from time to time. Dad's, naturally, not Brach's.
  7. This is already the 2nd Anderson vs Anderson matchup of the season (Ian Anderson of ATL back in May.) And with a series vs PHI in September, and Chase newly activated, the elusive Anderson vs Anderson trifecta could be in play.
  8. I enjoyed watching Garza at Iowa but I wouldn't want to draft him for NBA play. Sure he's skilled and works, but I just don't know who he's going to guard in the NBA. Unless he somehow got a whole lot faster.
  9. Have you ever had hosley's bacon? It's like a steak dinner. YES indeed. I have a couple pounds of it in the freezer in fact.
  10. By the way, the brats I hauled up here from Hoesly's in New Glarus. They're very good, but didn't quite have the magic in them today. I guess I should have stocked up on Usinger's instead.
  11. Well hopefully Woodruff learned his lesson from that Lynn hit.
  12. Yelich is just brutal. If I were a fan at the game I might have considered going to take a leak after Wong popped out.
  13. Brats are coming off the grill. No Yelich due up this inning. Here we go!
  14. I would guess the poster Dead Simmons is probably pleased with it.
  15. I wonder if the call would have been any different if Wong had stayed put and waited to be awarded the bb instead of busting out of the box. Seems like any time a player takes off on anything remotely close on ball 4, the ump rings him up. Like it's an ego thing or something.
  16. Was that Abreu's turned out pocket he had dangling during the AB?
  17. If Luna has another good game, I have to wonder if this will be the end of his tenure with the T Rats. ETA: Mind slipped with regards to the time change since coming back to AK. Not the greatest game for Carlos. Oh well...
  18. Lol now Booker whining because he wanted a foul called that's hilarious.
  19. That's why I basically checked out on the NBA many years ago. There's just no telling with the officiating. That was about as obvious as a foul gets.
