  1. How much snow/mixed crap are we looking at for the Wausau area, and when will it hit? I can't find this stuff anywhere else!
  2. Supposed to be an "interesting" storm moving across the state late Tuesday through Wednesday. No commentary from the resident weather man?
  3. I did get 8 seats in section 221, second row for just over 30 bucks a piece with fees and 2 preferred parking passes included. That's the Friday, April 22 Astro game.
  4. I have one. Not an Iron Gym, but essentially the same thing. Works very well. I find myself doing sets of 3 or 4 pullups throughout the day as I pass it.
  5. Depends...when I finished up P90X last spring or right now? LOL I can do probably 3 legit chinups. 1 pullup right now.
  6. Sounds like 4 years guaranteed for somewhere in the mid to upper 30s. Year 5 option that would put the whole deal around 50 mil.
  7. That video is AWESOME.
  8. Tulowitzski Joe Thomas Lebron
  9. If every player on the roster manages to match their career bests this is a 100 win team. Think about the performances that statement implies for a second. I'd put them at 92 wins.
  10. What's this? A winter storm warning in central WI and no updates in the winter weather thread? I feel neglected!
  11. Colby, you didn't even mention Odorizzi, the gem of the bunch according to most.
  12. So we are looking at up to a foot in Wausau?
  13. Sounds like we might get some of that storm up here in Wausau on Wednesday evening. I hope so! I need a good back drop for seeing deer in the woods and tracking blood on Thursday.
  14. Yep. I like hot weather. There's typically less humidity in San Antonio in August as opposed to places in Wisconsin. And overall, having a non-snowy winter, along with a more predictable spring, means I'll happily take the summers, springs, winters and falls in the big picture as opposed to cold, kinda cold, really cold, warm, and fall in Wisconsin.I'm not looking big picture. I'm nit-picking at your statement darnit!!!
  15. I'm calling [edited by mod] here. (Or at least a complete misunderstanding/abuse of the cliche you are using) Are you telling me that you would take the average August day in Texas over the average August day in Wisconsin? I can understand thinking that Wisconsin winters suck, but NOBODY passes on 75 and gorgeous for 95 or 100 degrees. (Moderator note: Please don't use "BS" as the abbreviation for the cuss. See language etiquette. --1992)
  16. Seeds aren't really rankings. If you're a conference champion, regardless of your record overall, you will get a 1 or 2 seed. The WIAA puts no effort into seeding these things. Often your level 3 and 4 games are going to be much more competitive than the state title game because of this.
  17. In all honesty, I would look to get whatever innings out of Roger's arm that we can right now while he is healthy. It sounds sinister, but the chances of him in 6 years being as healthy and strong as he is right now aren't the greatest.
  18. It really isn't possible for a team to have no MVP. Even the worst team ever has an MVP. Some guy has got to be more valuable than the others on a subjective basis. Just thought that "there was no MVP this year" was a funny comment. I'd go with Corey Hart.
  19. He wanted to stress to the organization that he had uncanny bat control. I think his message was heard.
  20. I love what BP said, but I don't have any problem with what Yadier Molina did, either. A day after calling the Card's "b(*&es" (which they are), Phillips leads off and wants to tap the catcher's shin guards as if nothing was said? You don't boil the blood one day and then expect to act like all is well the next. Phillips had to figure he was going to start something. If Molina had done nothing there it would have been almost like agreeing with what was said.
  21. I think he was comparing the afterthought that homosexuality in sports would become after the first few "come out" to the afterthought that minorities being hired as coaches has become. And I just realize that you may be aware of that, so ignore me if so.
  22. I guess I'd like to see the science behind this. I have my doubts that it is impossible for certain people to ever have a six pack. Maybe so after they've ballooned to 300+ lbs at 30 years old, but that would be due to deterioration of the skin and gross (and unnatural) accumulation of fat cells. Not because it is/was genetically impossible for them to do so. I do agree it is a more difficult task for some than others.
