  1. Don’t forget about DL Hall, who could very well be placed into the bullpen upon his return where he excelled last year.
  2. Have to think Black will be on the way back tomorrow.
  3. Having Bauers, Perkins, and Dunn in the same lineup should be illegal. Looking forward to getting Mitchell back soon.
  4. I would take this year’s rotation over that one. I also think Misiorowski is going to be part of the bullpen at some point in 2024 a la 2018 Corbin Burnes. I think this bullpen has a chance to be as good or better once Williams returns. It is fun to start comparing this roster to the 2018 roster, which was obviously very strong.
  5. Is a rotation of Peralta, Wilson, Ross, Rea, and Gasser good enough to win a division?
  6. Gasser looks really really good. Big shot in the arm for a team thin on starting pitching.
  7. Only two innings, but Gasser looks like he has pretty good stuff.
  8. Exciting if true. We need some of our young pitching prospects to pan out, especially those who can start. Good luck tonight Robert!
  9. Imagine a backend bullpen of Misiorowski, Megill and Williams in September. Could be dominant if Misiorowski learns some control by then.
  10. Boeve doesn’t seem like he is going to be in Biloxi very long. Crazy how good he’s been so far.
  11. Is it just me or does Black look a little bit like a young Paul Molitor? Too soon to compare them as players?
  12. Well it’s about time! There is nothing left for Tyler to prove in the minors, glad he finally got the call!
  13. I would rather call up Tyler Black and DFA Bauers and keep with the youth movement.
  14. I’m over Jake Bauers and would rather have Tyler Black take those at bats.
  15. It is going to be really hard to make it through a full season with this pitching staff.
  16. I don’t think Black has much left to prove at AAA and appears to be a player that could really help the big league club.
  17. I’m sort of ready for the Oliver Dunn experiment to be over with. Guessing that happens when Yelich returns.
  18. Bauers is a markedly better defensive player than Hoskins.
  19. Hall is going to keep getting hammered if he keeps throwing 92 mph.
  20. Dunn has been a nice story so far this year, but I have to say I would rather see Ortiz at 3b at this point.
  21. Joey Ortiz is starting to look awfully good as a player.
  22. What an awesome early season series! The two best prospects in baseball squaring off against each other, Jackson vs Jackson. Also two of the best records in baseball thus far. Baseball seems to be trending younger in general, which is great for organizations like the Brewers and Orioles. There will be a ton of young talent on display this weekend and I can't wait!
  23. I agree 100%. The starting rotation looks very, very questionable. It's Peralta, and then who else? How many innings will Miley throw this year? We also have a young and inexperienced roster and a new manager. Odds are the bullpen will see some regression from last year too. I hate to be a skeptic, but this feels like a team that will win less than 80 games this year.
  24. It doesn't sound like he'll pitch in 2024 but maybe still available to pinch hit?
