  1. Kind of lame the roof is closed today. There is no chance of rain and the high is 75.
  2. The Phillies series should be viewed as an opportunity. I’m glad we have more games against them both as a chance to make up ground and a litmus test how we stack up against one of our main competitors.
  3. That is a push that will keep the team from becoming complacent.
  4. Frelick is a liability at the plate right now.
  5. Frelick just looks awful at the plate. Too many weak ground balls.
  6. By the very same token, I would gauge the market for Yelich this offseason as well.
  7. We look like a deer in headlights against these guys. Not unexpected with how young the roster is.
  8. I’ve never felt more hopeless against an opponent than I do against the Dodgers.
  9. Our offense is very feast or famine.
  10. Frelick’s ceiling is too low for me to get excited about.
  11. Huuuuge series, really hope we are up to the task!!
  12. I would have to think we'll see Yoho and Miz on the big league roster before the end of the year. Either or both of them could be an x factor before the season ends.
  13. He certainly will if he keeps playing like this.
  14. I hope Skenes implodes and Chourio wins ROY.
  15. I’m salivating at the thought of having Chourio and Mitchell as 2/3 of our outfield for the next several years.
  16. With our recent poor play, we have nowhere to go but up, right?
  17. I think Arnold has had a really really awful year as GM. He traded arguably the best pitcher in baseball two weeks before the season starts for an extremely mediocre, if not lousy return. Why not hold on to Burnes at that point and he either a) helps the 2024 team win a pennant, or b) wait until the trade deadline and get a much better return? We should either be a legit World Series contender with Burnes, or received a king’s ransom at this year’s trade deadline. Instead we got neither and now we’re stuck in no man’s land. He followed that up with adding a bunch of reclamation projects at the deadline instead of legitimately trying to help the team win a division. It’s very frustrating as a fan.
  18. Ortiz is about the closest thing to an automatic out as you can have right now.
  19. Of course. I just think he is a far more dynamic player than Frelick and should get the lions share of the playing time between those two.
  20. I’m very bullish on Garrett Mitchell.
  21. With how we are playing and looking at our upcoming schedule, I think we’re in a lot of trouble.
  22. Mitchell needs to be an everyday player in my view.
