  1. It would be very hard for me to put Rea out there as a starter in the playoffs.
  2. Lack of offense will be this team’s demise. Seems pretty inevitable at this point.
  3. I would really love to see us bring up Miz and Yoho and cut bait with Milner and Peguero. I just don’t know why we can’t quit those two.
  4. It sure seems like this team’s downfall will be its offense by year’s end like many of our teams in recent years.
  5. I would I would rather see Misiorowski than Peguero at this point.
  6. I am very curious to see where Chourio and Merrill’s stats will compare when the season is over because that could very well be the race for ROY.
  7. What I meant was a potential trip to the NLCS or maybe even a World Series!
  8. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong, especially with the Montas and Civale acquisitions. They have been great, and we didn't have to give up much for either. I'm also done playing hindsight on the Burnes trade. We got two players that will hopefully be cornerstones for years to come, and we will win a division and maybe more without Burnes in 2024. The Brewers organization adds players around the fringes while protecting our coveted farm system, which is what we need to do to consistently compete with the powerhouses of MLB.
  9. Fair point. Civale just got done shutting out the Guardians and is a veteran. Lots can change between now and October.
  10. Hard to envision Montas or Civale not being on the playoff roster, regardless of round.
  11. With a big divisional lead, I would have to think the Brewers’ brass will be more inclined to see what we have in Miz and Yoho come September.
  12. Kind of lame the roof is closed today. There is no chance of rain and the high is 75.

  14. The Phillies series should be viewed as an opportunity. I’m glad we have more games against them both as a chance to make up ground and a litmus test how we stack up against one of our main competitors.
  15. That is a push that will keep the team from becoming complacent.
  16. Frelick is a liability at the plate right now.
  17. Frelick just looks awful at the plate. Too many weak ground balls.
  18. By the very same token, I would gauge the market for Yelich this offseason as well.
  19. We look like a deer in headlights against these guys. Not unexpected with how young the roster is.
  20. I’ve never felt more hopeless against an opponent than I do against the Dodgers.
  21. Our offense is very feast or famine.
  22. Frelick’s ceiling is too low for me to get excited about.
  23. Huuuuge series, really hope we are up to the task!!
  24. I would have to think we'll see Yoho and Miz on the big league roster before the end of the year. Either or both of them could be an x factor before the season ends.
