  1. Okay the. Chafin experiment needs to promptly end.
  2. Willy just flat out needs to be benched, he is absolutely useless.
  3. Maybe this series will force an offensive shakeup, who knows.
  4. This game literally sets up perfectly with the bullpen rested and it won’t matter.
  5. I just can’t watch Willy hit anymore.
  6. Those two games off last week really helped Willy.
  7. Hiura with another HR tonight. That’s 20 in 73 games for those who are counting.
  8. I should have clarified, I meant winning a World Series. That should be the goal given Burnes is as good as gone after the season. Hiura had a .765 OPS last year, which would rank him 3rd on this year's club. He should be given another chance for that reason, and the fact he has changed his batting stance and might actually be better than last year.
  9. Total crap move for the Dodgers to schedule this as a night game. We should schedule next year's getaway day at Am Fam as a night game if we remain at home following the series.
  10. The Brewers aren't winning anything with the present lineup construction. It's going to take a couple of call ups that change the complexion of the lineup to contend for a World Series. Hiura should be on the short list of call ups to potentially catch lightning in a bottle. If Brewers brass maintains the status quo, then they are just dumb.
  11. I can’t wait to get out of LA, this is not at all enjoyable.
  12. Tyrone Taylor, hitting a paltry .178, should not be playing over Weimer.
  13. The Dodgers and Braves are in a class unto themselves in the NL.
  14. If the organization thinks he can meaningfully contribute to the club making the playoffs and winning a World Series, then he should absolutely be called up this September.
  15. It’s hard to look at Wilken and not get excited. The Mike Trout comparison is a little bold but he sure does look like him at the plate. He’s so massive he barely fit in that home run video of him.
  16. Okay Canha seriously just needs to go away.
  17. If we lose 2 of 3 to the Rockies, I think it is time for a major shakeup. Not sure what exactly that would look like, but this lineup ain't cutting it.
  18. It is hard to be a "stick first" player when you are literally one of the best defensive infielders in all of baseball. Having said that, I think he has a good chance to be a cornerstone of the franchise at the SS position for many years to come.
  19. I would be very comfortable moving on from Adames this offseason and handing over the keys to Turang.
  20. I completely agree. We have a large enough sample size of the present offense to know they aren't good. We also have to give Adames time off or move him to 9th in the order and hope that will take some pressure off of him.
  21. It’s hard to win when Santana and Adames are you 3/4 hitters. When do we move Adames to 9th in the order or pull the plug entirely? He’s one more 0-4 game away from falling below the Mendoza line.
  22. I realize this is a Brice Turang thread, but I am much more concerned with Willy Adames right now. If you want to examine the struggles of the offense, the conversation should begin with him.
  23. Wiemer is definitely looking more hitterish at the plate lately.
  24. Can’t we just get Brent Suter back to fill the Justin Wilson role?
  25. Peguero is getting harder to trust in big situations.
