  1. Well Burnes has been pitching like fresh poo. I’d rather give that up than the 3 day old stuff.
  2. Brew Crew Review 2019 Mock Draft 1. Orioles Audley Rutchman C Oregon State 2. Royals Bobby Witt Jr. SS Texas HS 3. White Sox Andrew Vaughn 1B California 4. Marlins JJ Bleday OF Vanderbilt 5. Brewers JJ Goss RHP Texas HS Toolsy OF Maurice Hampton from high school in Tennessee seems more likely a Brewers type pick from the current scouting department. Hearing the Brewers would take left handed hitting high school SS Gunnar Henderson if he happens to fall to their pick.

  5. Would rather have Pick #39 than Alex Claudio but what can you do...
  6. It IS a fact that there are fees for phone orders. Not saying it's not possible that if you are a stout dude that perhaps they waive them, but they do charge them. And OldSchool is correct, there are no fees if you purchase tickets at the actual Miller Park Box Office in person.
  7. The Brewers DO NOT waive fees for single game phone orders. If you are a season ticket holder, that is a different story.
  8. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me...you can't get fooled again. Hope we sign them both.
  9. I think the Brewers should save Corey Ray as a trade chip for a better deadline target. I also believe Ray could increase his trade stock with a solid start to season in the minors. Speaking of Giant relievers, Brewers might be able to land a player like Mark Melancon for basically nothing and even have Giants kick in money to cover some of his contract. I know he’s not the same pitcher he was, but he could bridge gap until either Jeffress or Knebel are healthy.
  10. 2019 Brewers Predictions Win-Loss Record: 93-69 Playoffs (Yes, No): Yes Highest Playoff Level Achieved: NLCS All-Star Game Representative(s): Christian Yelich, Yasmani Grandal, Josh Hader Offensive Player of the Year: Christian Yelich Starting Pitcher of the Year: Freddy Peralta Relief Pitcher of the Year: Josh Hader Most Surprising Player: Taylor Williams Most Disappointing Player: Jimmy Nelson
  11. Pete was drafted in 23rd round of 1999 draft and traded to Brewers at 2001 Trade Deadline along with Ruben Quevedo for David Weathers. He made his MLB debut as a Milwaukee Brewer on September 5, 2003. He gives an inside perspective about his baseball life with some great stories. Definitely worth a listen!
  12. David gives some great insights into playing college baseball, getting drafted in 1999 by the Brewers, going through the Brewers minor league system with players like JJ Hardy and Nick Neugebauer, and pitching in the Majors against players like Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds. Interesting stories and perspectives for any baseball fan to enjoy. Check it out.
  13. “People ask me what I do in winter when there is no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for Spring.” - Rogers Hornsby
  14. Why not just re-sign the actual Wade Miley then? I think we are going with the younger guys at the back of the rotation at this point. And expect to get meaningful innings from Nelson this year.
  15. Drew Pomeranz is a younger lefty and just signed with GIANTS for less than what u are proposing to give Shields. No harm in signing any of these guys to a minor league deal I guess, but not interested in more than that.
  16. I think it’s more short sighted if it’s the Brewers plan to try to catch “lighting in the bottle” two years in a row, personally.
  17. Wow this is a list of some pretty terrible pitchers. I honestly believe our internal options are better. I'd rather give Zack Brown MLB experience then give any of those guys even one inning as a Brewer. At first I thought there was a RIP next to there names in place of the RHP. Because outside of maybe Clay Buchholz their careers are basically dead.
